As a busy mom who works full time, I appreciate the fact that Sandy is always very accommodating and on time. Her prices are really reasonable. She listens to what you want, and will work with you in order to make it happen. Sandy is a find, and I would not go anywhere else. more

I always liked going to Beauty Gallery for their great selection of products, it is always clean, they are always helpful and have a wonderful selection of excellent products. I found myself in need of a new hair dresser and found the BEST hair dresser ever through Citysearch who, as it turned out, works out of Beauty Gallery! From my very first visit, I was AMAZED at Jackie's magic. She made my hair drop dead beautiful. I get stopped frequently and told how great my hair is, which did not happen until Jackie did her magic on my locks. On top of it all, everyone at the salon and beauty supply are all extremely friendly and there's a great vibe throughout. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this salon and my beautiful color, cut, and style thanks to Jackie. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else! more

When i say that this beauty supply store has everything I mean it!! I get everything i want or need in one shot!! They have my favorite shampoo, skincare, lotion and makeup!! It's so hard to find my favorite shampoo from Alfaparf and they have it! Not only is the store gorgeous the employees are fantastic!! They are sooo sweet and really take the time to make you feel comfortable! They really know there stuff and really take the time to explain the products to you! This past weekend I went to the Beauty Gallery to get my hair done by George. I heard nothing but Great things about how George is such an amazing hair artist. I was not disappointed! George is an artist, he made my hair look amazing the cut and color is awesome, he used 3 different hair colors to acheive the perfect look. I got my hair cut in long layers and got a warm blond on top, a dark brown on the bottom and red highlights underneath my hair so when i wear it up you can see the red on the sides. I went in there expecting great hair and I got exactly that! I told George he is free to do anything with my hair because I trust what I've been told about him. He made my hair look healthy, shiny, beautiful. I can wear it different ways. If i want to be dark one day i'll pin the blond back a little, if I want to be blond one day I'll leave it all down and straight, if I want a different look and the red to show more I'll pull it up and you can see the red highlights on the sides of my head it looks so awesome! I'm the type of girl that gets tried of a look real fast, but because i have 3 different colors going on I can acheive so many different looks. If you want something different, go to George he will make you look amazing! And don't be afraid to give him free will to make you look different and beautiful! George is the man to go to for artist like hair! This guy defitnatly has skills! The whole process is great, and relaxing. His technique is truely unique. more

I've always had difficult hair - curly and frizzy - that on some days look amazing and on others was a mess. I didn't hate my situation (because it's fun to be versatile) but I was bummed that I didn't have ""easy"" hair like everyone else. It was just so much work! And then enters Jackie with her fantastic Brazilian straightening techniques. I was always hesitant to get a straightening treatment because I didn't want to damage my hair (or permanently lose the curl), but the Brazilian is totally safe and even GOOD for your hair (100% pure keratin). Not to mention it wears off in a few months, so you can enjoy silky smooth locks for a little while and go back to your norm if you want. It is a lengthy process but Jackie is so much fun you won't even realize it. She makes you feel totally comfortable - which I needed when chopping of 10 inches of hair and straightening for a drastic change. Pros: great cut, great brazilian straightening, great socializing Cons: NONE! more

I used to go to a very overpriced, snotty, impersonal salon on Ventura Blvd. I was ""happy"" but it wasn't a place I enjoyed going- especially when the bill came out! I have been looking for a new stylist for so long. I've gone to so many different ones in the valley and have not been happy with any of them until now. I found Jackie on Citysearch and am so grateful to all the other reviews! They are so right she is AMAZING! She cut, highlighted, colored and styled my hair in 2 hours and it was PERFECT! The best part was that I told her that I was going to a big party that night and she then told me that she was a makeup artist as well so I let her work her magic and I was so unbelievably happy! Jackie is a color God I tell you!!! She has taken me from my natural color of Blonde to a dark gorgeous red that I was for almost 3 years!! I wanted to go back to Blonde, I didn't know how she was gonna pull it off, but she did and it looked AWESOME!!!!. Everywhere I go I get compliemnts on my hair!!! She has taken me back to red, a lighter version now, and I'm staying with it for a while!! Jackie is the ONLY person I trust with my hair!! Her cuts, styles and color are nothing short of amazing!!!! I moved from NYC about a year ago and was desperate to find someone to style my hair. I tried Rumours Hair Salon but they were missing the personalized treatment that I was use to. I finally googled best hair in Chatsworth and it led me to this citysearch page. All of these reviews are true about Jackie! I am so grateful to all the people who wrote these reviews because I would have never found her! Not only did she style my hair beautifully but I found the warm personalized service that I was looking for. I wanted a stylist to work with me to create a look that I would be happy with. I wanted a stylist that I could trust and that would be warm, helpful and kind. I wanted a stylist that was not a snob because somehow I think some stylist think that it is chic to be a snob. Jackie is wonderful and we are very lucky to have her here in Chatsworth! I even had Jackie cut my boyfriend's hair and she did such a great job that we kept talking about her after we left the shop! We were truly very pleased! I want to add that I use to go to TwoDo Salon in NYC, they are also reviewed here in citysearch. I have recently moved to the area and I needed to get my haircut and highlighted so I decided to check out Citysearch. I read all the reviews about Jackie and thought that I would give her a try. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID! I have never been so pleased with my hair! She listened to everything I said and gave me some great advice on my current style. She transformed me. I was in Heaven. Also, I have been paying so much at other salons and she did everything for me for half the price of what I normally would pay. I am so happy! Beauty Supply is a great palce - just as nice as other salons, but without the attitude. I used to be so dissatisfied with the way most hair dressers would do my hair that I ended up going to several, and was never happy. That is, until I started going to Jackie D. She is so professional, friendly, and full of good suggestions. She also doesn't have an inherent need to look away from her work to check out the goings on in the salon unlike so many other HD's I've been to. She stays focus on her work, and it shows as she creates masterpieces! I won't let anyone else touch my hair other than Jackie. If you are in the SF Valley, you should go and even if you aren't, I assure you as someone who travels from Brentwood/Palisades area, it's worth the drive. more

I have had many massages and Jesse is the best! His technique is very different and your muscles feel like they got a workout without being very sore the next day. He also has a very pleasant demeanor. Pros: Easy access to parking lot and salon. Cons: None. more

I have gone to countless places to get my hair done, but after moving back to the SFV I had no clue where to go to get a great haircut. Then I found out about Beauty Gallery and the lovely Jackie on Citysearch. Lucky me! She did a fabulous job on my hair, the best haircut and blowdry I have ever had, and recommended some great products for my fine, color-treated hair. I just went in to see Jackie and she did the most incredible job on my hair and makeup. I was going to a wedding and she did my entire look. She cut, styled and curled my hair and than did the most gorgeous makeup I have ever had. She even applied false eyelashes. I am HOOKED!!! I plan on referring all of my friends to her. I went into Beauty Gallery to buy color and the young lady who worked there told me to talk to Jackie and ask what she would recommend. Jackie told me what she thought I should do and I just let her do it. I am SO HAPPY that I did. The color and cut she gave me was GORGEOUS!! and the blowdry was the best I have ever had. I really felt I should tell her and everyone how happy I am. I am definitely going back and telling all of my friends! I had the most wonderful massage ever! Not only was I relaxed from my head to my toes, but I was stress free. All the kinks in my neck and back from sitting in front of a computer 8hrs a day were gone. The price was great too.
