I have had so many experiences with average to poor tailoring that I really looked for someone with references this time. I lost a lot of weight and wanted suits tailored to fit. I was afraid to bring everything because I wanted to see if he was as good as the reviews I read first, so I just brought three pairs of pants. He is amazing ! He took in the waist , the legs, and the seat and they are perfect. I brought him a rugby shirt that fit the shoulders but fit like a tent at the waist and he took that in so it fits great and I can't even tell where he stiched. He also noticed that the tailor who originally hemmed my pants did a sloppy job, which he was digusted by, and he fixed that for me as well, and didn't even charge me for it. more

Best experience 9/11/2009

Take your clothes here. The man knows what he is doing, and your clothes will look good. You will look better buying cheaper clothes and taking them to Beauge for alterations than buying more expensive clothes and not. I made the mistake of getting pants taken in at the waist from someone else. They did just that; and now I have pants that fit through the waist, but other look like a pair of parachute pants. Beauge will alter the entire pant leg when you ask him to ""take in the waist."" The results are like getting a brand new pair of pants that actually fit, rather than a hacked up version of your previous pants. He can make those baggy dress shirts fit. He also does wonders with suits, tuxedos, really anything.

The quality of his work is outstanding, and he is really the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Prices are very reasonable. (I'm sure you can find cheaper, but it's probably not worth it.) The only downside is that he is occasionally late. I wasn't in a rush, but I assume if you need something on an urgent basis, that he would accommodate you. Best Tailor in Boston 12/1/2008

I have been going to Beauge's Tailoring for about 6 months now. This tailor is fantastic. He provides high quality service at very reasonable prices. He is very freindly and professional. I have bought suits and been offered discounted tailioring but I still bring them to Beauge. If you wuld like to look better in some of your cloths jsut bring them buy and he will tell you how they can be altered to make you look better. He can do things with pants, jackets, coats, dress shirts and t-shirts that I didn't know could be done. At a minimum, youshould try him out for your next tailoring needs. He will not disappoint. Great tailoring and wonderful service! 2/4/2008

Beauge could not be a better tailor or a nicer business man. I have had three pairs of pants taken in and hemmed by him and they all fit perfectly after. I had even hemmed one of the pants myself and he undid the hem and redid it so it would look nicer without charging me extra. I would highly recommend him and I will definitely continue to take my clothes to him! He does a great job! Pros: Great Tailoring and service more

Excellent service, price, professionalism 4/21/2007

After having horrific experiences paying $35 for a pants hem by in one of the xyz the Tailor's in downtown boston - which unravelled 2 weeks later, and took over 3 weeks to complete - I researched tailors through my company's Concierge service. Although he didn't come up on the list, he was the closest to my building and decided to give it a shot. Since I had walked into a few locations and had horrible customerservice experiences I had quite a backlog of tailoring including a button on my winter coat I was carrying around in my pocket. When I went in, I was greeted professionally and friendly. I tried all the garments on and he understood exactly what I wanted - due to his corporate location. He even sewed the wayward button on while we chatted. This guy is a dream come true. No job is too big or too small. He does everything with ease and calls when running late. I was extremely impressed in an age where customer service and personal relationships aren't always part of a business model. Excellent tailor, great service 1/20/2007

Beauge is a warm, friendly guy who does excellent work. I've brought everything from a Brooks Brothers suit to a North Face jacket to him and it always comes out great. Like the other review states, he can be occasionally late, but just give him a call before you go and he'll do his best to have it ready. Quality service with a smile! 10/28/2006

My husband has been having is suits tailored by Beauge for 2.5 years now. Beauge is a vibrant, and friendly person who delivers excellent quality tailoring. Just call to make sure that you items are ready before going to pick them up. He can be late occassionally due to the high demand but trust me, it's totally worth the wait. Pros: Excellent Quality!
