Beau Monde

Casual yet elegant is the best way to describe Beau Monde, and Breton style crepe bistro. The atmosphere is romantic but not overly, they have paper napkins on the table. Its a great spot for a casual date, or an evening out with friends. The wine list is small, but the do carry Woodchuck ciders which IMO go much better with a crepe meal. They have a huge variety of savory or sweet crepes ranging from $3-$17 ea. I feel that one of each makes a nice meal. I would say the typical meal for two including dinner crepe, dessert crepe, a drink and coffee would be in the neighborhood of $55-$65 including tax and tip. It is a bit pricey, but its a great place to impress a date while not overpowering with an ultra romantic atmosphere. You will enjoy this dining experience. Crepes, crepes, crepes! savory or sweet, they have it all. While I love pretty much all of their savory crepes, and go there for dinner, this would be a good place for dessert and a drink, as there is a bar. Great place for a date! The atmosphere is romantic, big French doors and ceiling fans, you feel like you are in a restaurant in New Orleans' French quarter. Bon Appetite! more
