Never written a scathing review online in my life, but I felt compelled with Beacon. These guys act so unprofessional, angry, and miserable, I feel sorry for them. But, that's no excuse for how they behave. After emailing Beacon (which online promises a return email in one hour) and getting no response, I called a few days later, got their owner Bob Beniers on the phone and asked a very simple question: ""I'm looking for a quote for a set of jerseys for my team."" Instead of responding with ""Sure, how can I help you?"" he responds with a condescending laugh and lectures me about how dumb a request that was since there are so many types of jerseys, etc. I responded that I in fact emailed him the EXACT jersey mock-up/design with all those specifics, but given his tone I'd be taking my $4,000 request elsewhere. He responded ""Good"" and hung up.\r \r Along with the reviews below, there are many other people who have similar experiences, and this was not my first. I've always attributed their embarrassing behavior to ""having a bad day,"" but it's obvious they are just not nice people who don't deserve the respect or business of customers. Life's too short to be that miserable or for that matter to shop at a store where your money goes to people who are not thankful for your business. Go someplace else. Buyer Beware! 12/19/2011

I ordered a catchers mitt from this company and have yet to receive it. I've emailed the company multiple times and get no response what so ever. The funds have been paid to them through paypal so I'm now in the middle of trying to get that back. I will not purchase from them again and discourage anyone else from purchasing from them. more

HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE! DON NOT BUY HERE 8/30/2011

Beacon sports sent the wrong product. Their website and shipping info says you have to contact them before you return anything. I sent 2 emails and called and am unable to get a response. Do not buy from Beacon Sports they only care about the sale and do not take care of customers. EVEN WHEN IT IS THEIR ERROR!!! You will lose out if the wrong product is sent. BUYER BEWARE!!! more

I ordered a glove and thought it would ship that day (as listed). I live within and hour and could have picked it up. But I believed it would go out that day and probably given the 25 mile distance it should have been here the next day. I commented that I would like to have the glove quickly. I ordered on Monday and got a letter stating it was shipped but it wasn't in postal system until WED. I'ts easy to print a label on Monday why you wouldn't just mail it that day is beyond me. I am an eretailer and would never do that. And now it's thursday and I still have no glove. My email has gone unanswered. and this is why I bought the glove from a local company. Don't buy from these guys! Cons: don't believe the shipping. and they don't answer email more

Aweful customer serivce, worst experience I've ever had 1/25/2007

I dropped off 5 shirts for silkscreening and was told two days. I was quoted 20 bucks, fair enough. After two days, I called to inquire my order and they acted like I was out of line. They were rude and told me however many days they said. So later on I went down to there store. My order was ready, and I was charged 40 bucks. When I questioned why 40 and not the 20 they had said two days ago, the two men became hostile and vulgar. Needless to say I was stuck, and forced myself to pay since I needed my shirts back. As an avid consumer for sports gear, it was the worst experience I've ever had. As a customer, baseball coach and iraqi vet, I've never been so appalled. Pros: It was in the next town over Cons: Rip Off, mean and old angry men behind counter more
