Jimmy recently performed a variety of electrical services at our house, from installing GFCI switches to fixing bad wiring. He is efficient, courteous, and he knows his stuff. more

After having very unsatisfactory experience with two other electrical companies, I contacted Beacon to do the routine maintenance on my house generator. Beacon came through for me with its prompt response to my call and competent service. Rich, the service technician, was great. He took the time to do a thorough inspection of my generator unit/system and was very pleasant to deal with. I was so pleased that I took out a two-year maintenance contract. Brandon Lewis of Beacon Electric was very friendly, professional, and did a great job. We are very satisfied with the work he did in changing all of our outlets (indoor and outdoor), switches (indoor), and light fixtures (indoor, and two outdoor). He also upgraded the floodlights in the backyard. These all needed changing because they are almost 30 years old and we were having problems. He did a full diagnosis on our wiring and said our wiring and our electric box were in great shape (whew). He added a surge protector to our electric box and changed some of the connections to bring them to code. He brought everything up to code and said that there was a 7 year guarantee. It took two and a half days to do the work. He came with a helper the first day, and worked alone for a day and a half. I would strongly recommend Brandon as he is very knowledgeable. The work was very expensive, but we could not find anyone else who would even come out to provide an estimate. more

Rich came out to provide a long-overdue servicing of a whole house generator that never functioned properly in cold weather. He was able to pinpoint the problem and now it seems to work perfectly. He was so effective that I signed up for a 3 year service plan. more

Jimmy was great to work with - he quickly diagnosed our electrical issue, offered solutions with accurate estimates, and fixed the issue in timely manner (while overcoming unexpected issues. He also walked me through an overall electrical inspection and condition of our panel. Would recommend Beacon and Jimmy to anyone looking for electrical services. more
