I experienced a bait and switch by beach marine today so be careful, do nothing unless it is in writing as verbal quotes were not honored, at least in my experience. I called 4 days ago to reserve a work rack to do some work on my boat. I was quoted $3.00 per foot to haul the boat out, which incidentially was posted on the board in the office. When I was done, I went to pay and have my boat put back in the water, I was told the price was $150. My boat is only 17 feet long so the bill should have been $51. Trouble is your boat is held hostage until you pay whatever they want and there is little that can be done or that they are willing to do to honor what you have been told. Remember the price of $3.00 per foot posted on the board, when I told them about that they took it down, presumably so the price is the flavor of the day..
