Bayou Bay is the best place to eat in Knoxville. Their menu is HUGE!! And it will definitely please anyone in your party, even the picky ones. I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food in this location. I am start enough to realize that I am in TN and not La, so I know the food isn't going to be just as good as it is when I'm sitting in the French Quarter, but they do a darn good job at it! I've taken many friends to the Bay and they all have loved it!! The servers are great and willing to meet any need you might possibly have. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place! Oh well they don't have liquor drinks, but I can settle with a cold beer just fine! more

Authentic Louisiana Cookin" 9/15/2009

It has been hard to find authentic Cajun Food since we moved from Louisiana, and I am very skeptical when I see "Cajun Cooking". But, Bayou Bay Seafood House is true Louisiana cooking. It was absolutely yummy, and was so nice to taste the genuine thing. How lucky am I to have the best Cajun in town just down the street. Very authentic and delicious. My cajun Mother in Law agrees as well. Nice family dinner treat. more

Good food good prices 8/29/2008

I have eaten there for the munch specials a few times the food is great, some fish you can not usually purchase in the stores around here. The place is very accessible, the attmosphere is sports bar style with lots of UT football pictures and signs. The lunch prices were good more

I like Bayou Bay. It's way out Chapman Highway, convenient to nothing but South Knoxville, and it's a little overpriced and under-fancy to boot. But I like Bayou Bay. The food is always good, sometimes great, and the servers are usually laid-back without being lazy. We seldom resist boiled crawfish as an appetizer, and it's the only place in Knoxville that serves alligator or frog legs any time you get that special craving. Beer is cold, booths are big, and good-ole-boys are welcome to sit beside church ladies. Yeah, I like Bayou Bay. more
