TACTLESS 5/11/2009

Recently had for my 7 year old. The assigned host was very pleasant, but the Manager and Owners were tactless and rude. The focus seemed to be on money, and getting us in and out. I arrived about 15 minutes early in hopes of setting up the goodie bags and getting situated so I could great the guests as they arrived, but was forced to wait in the front fenced in area until exactly party time. By then the guest had arrived, and we were huddled like pigs in a pen. When they finally allowed the kids in, they issued wrist bands to all the kids of the party (charging per head), and tried to tell us that my 13y/o and his friend also needed to be counted in as part of the kids. The kids were allowed to play for about 1hr 15min, and then were asked to go to the room for food and cake. After dropping $350 for 12 kids and another $150 some food for the adults, the manager came to us and “suggested” that the assigned host should be tipped 15%. I’m sorry, but 1 guy that did about 30 minutes of work (setting out the pizza, cutting the cake and painting some lame “snakes” and “spiders” on the kids face, does not warrant a $75 tip). While still thanking the guest, the Owner came up to us, IN FRONT OF THE GUEST, and told us that our tip was not enough, and even proceeded to do the math for us, telling us (STILL IN FRONT OF THE GUEST) that $75 is really what we should be tipping. Now again, as I said before the assigned host was both friendly and courteous, but unless you are telling me that these guys work only off tip, I feel that the $40 tip given was more then enough. With owners that are as tastless as this, I would never visit or suggest to others. more

Stay away, one of our children had to go to the hospital!!! 7/31/2007

We took our summer camp to "enjoy" a couple of hours at playrobics and it turned into a disaster. We had a reservation but they allowed another group with much older kids to join us because "she did not want to loose their money" Our children, ages 2-4, were stepped on, kicked in the ball pit, pushed off rides, and ultimately pushed out of our play time. I brought this to the attention of the staff but was told this is how they do business and they are there to collect money, nothing more!!!! One of our children ended up have a major gash in his leg, and another had to be taken to the hospital because she was trying to get out of the ball pit when 4 other older children stomped on her. I do not recommend this facility at all. The staff is only money hungry and do not care about the welfare or safety of the children playing in their establishment. more

Great place 6/20/2007

I recently had a party at playrobics and it was great. The food was excellent, they have quite an adult menu. The kids had a great time playing laser tag which is one of the options for the party other than sand art, little girl make over, etc. the service was very good the host of the parties really know what they are doing and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the break from the kids. Not only did the kids have fun but the place was extremely clean. As for the games, everyone once in a while a coin would get stuck in the machine but all you had to do was tell someone and they help other than the all machines work and they only cost a quarter to play while the toddler games are free. In short this a great place for to let you children have fun while you take a break.... more

I think this place is only good if you are going to attend a birthday party. They charge more than chuckie cheese for less rides. The food is just so so. It is basic child menu food. They do not let you into the place if someone is having a birthday party there. I have seen other kids really enjoy this place. My child would rather go to the park. Cheaper and lots of fun. Again, I would not go here again. The location is good, there is plenty of parking, and the service is good for parties. more
