The first review is an understatement. When I moved in it was NOT clean at all and I spent the next 2 days cleaning it. I was only given $50 off my deposit for that. The office told me that I would have to get renters insurance (which I did immediately) before they could give me my mail key. The girl (Lindsey) in the office said she would bring it to my apartment and leave it somewhere, and she kept forgetting. I didn't get mail for 2 weeks. I then had to leave early from work (which I didn't get paid for) to go and pick up my mail. During the year I was there, the police were called probably 10-15 times for numerous reasons. There is no softball field...just a softball fence...There is a tennis court that has never had a net...There is a volleyball court, but no net. The one time I went to the pool it was very very cloudy, and the guys that are there, make sexual comments to you (I am a girl). When I moved in in May of 2008, they said that they would be getting the nets for the volleyball and tennis courts that year...they haven't. I ended up talking to a guy who has lived there for 4 years and he said they have never had nets for them and they don't plan on getting any soon. OH! And the insects!!!! Every building had bedbugs in one unit at least...so what WE had to do is to wash ALL of our clothes that we had in REALLY hot water (which we had to pay for!) and bag them in plastic bags so they could spray the apartments. Which they only sprayed with Home Defense....Thank goodness I never got bedbugs, but if you did, you would have to throw out all of your furniture, and you would be at a loss..not the management. I ended up setting off 2 insect bombs myself in my apartment to get rid of the rest of the insects! There are insects EVERYWHERE! A neighbor of mine was bitten by 2 brown recluse spiders and went into cardiac arrest and she is still suffering from the aftermath of that. When they would go into my apartment to ""spray"", they did say that my unit was the cleanest they had ever seen. I am a VERY clean person. When I moved out, I of course, took everything and made sure that everything was clean. When I didn't receive my deposit back, I called and Lindsey said she was going to call me back...which she didn't...I received a letter stating that the carpets needed to be cleaned which was $60 (which was so clean...nothing happened on them), the toilet and tub were not clean which was $30 and the refrigerator wasn't clean which was $20...so they had the nerve to say that I owed THEM $1! I was sooo furious....not so much that it was just $99 I was supposed to get back, just for the purpose of them doing that! I didn't get even that when I moved in and had to clean the oven, the refrigerator, the tub, the toilet and the carpets!!! Oh and one time when they had to come in and ""inspect"" the apartments, one of the men that came in, used my toilet, left the toilet seat up and they splashed urine all on the rim! I didn't get any reimbursement for that!!! Anyways...long story short....DO NOT GO HERE! THERE ARE OTHER PLACES THAT ARE BETTER!
