This Mother's Day, we tried to eat at BayGrill. As our family approached the restaurant, we saw a sign that reading ""Happy Mother's Day!"" When we entered, we were treated well (in my opinion) and our appetizer was great. But when we ordered, the food was taking much longer to be served than you would normally expect. My brother, who has severe autism, was getting pretty impatient. He was hungry, and he took his shoes off, which would not normally cause any trouble, but the same lady who greeted us apparently has no tolerance for differences. She approached my mother and whispered in her ear to put my brother's shoes back on his feet. Our family would not have minded her asking my brother to put his shoes on by saying, ""Hey buddy, do you mind putting your shoes back on?"" But she had to be rude about it. My father, who wasn't being much less impatient about getting our food late than my brother, stood up and we left the restaurant. About the only good thing we got out of this restaurant was eating a great appetizer for free.
