I've worked with Paul and Donna a couple of times and they have always done a great job. The staff is friendly, their showroom is very informative and they have always been on time. A good place to do business 8/27/2008

A friend, to whom we'd recommended Bay Area Overhead Door, told me about this site; they had logged on to provide a favorable recommendation once their three-door installation was completed. Having been greatly pleased with the quality of materials and workmanship they were astounded by the negative comments presented. We had three doors and two openers installed by BAOD about nine years ago. Quality is outstanding, service was top notch and our doors still look great and perform well. more

Excellent Service - Great Quality 8/13/2008

I found this company to have excellent service. Their quote was exactly what I paid, and their service was excellent. My house was not quite square, and the doors had to be adjusted, and some extra concrete removed around the framing. It was done to perfection and no extra charges. The doors are beautiful, and are perfectly square! I was very impressed with their customer service, as we could not make up our minds as to what to have installed. Their manager patiently reviewed option after option with us, and with their expert knowledge helped us to pick out a style that compliments our house perfectly. We picked this company prior to reading the other reviews, and I was extremely surprised to see the other comments. I think some people expect that all services should be ?free?. This door company was excellent, and I have recommended them to all my friends and family. more

Dishonest Service Provider 2/7/2008

I found Bay Area Overhead to be a totally irresponsible and dishonest service provider. \r They installed my garage door opener recently, contracted through Home Depot service installation. The installer was careless in his work in general. To top it off, he broke the hinges in a plastic cover of a part when he rip it apart. He tried to hide that, until I noticed that the cover was lying loose. He tried to spin his way out of it, which I shouldn't have listened to. Later I realize the significance of the broken piece, and tried to call Bay Area Overhead to get it fixed. It got even worse... they now even try to lie that the part was already broken inside the sealed bag, and that the installer had informed me before he installed it. That is an absolute lie.\r \r At this point, the problem with Bay Area Overhead is beyond having a broken part, which was fine out of the box. They are dishonest, basically refused to admit any responsibility, and have very bad attitude in addressing more
