Bay Area Moving & Storage

I called Bay Area Moving & Storage after reading all the reviews here, and I'm glad I did. The prices were quite reasonable. What I liked best was that there were no "hidden charges" for anything, e.g., long walks, staircases, and so on. You just pay a fixed rate for two people working very hard. My movers (Juan and Julio) handled everything professionally and with a great attitude. more

I may be the worst customer a moving company can deal with. And they dealt with me so well I can't help but give them five stars. With all the rave reviews I received from friends and family, I couldn't help but choose Bay Area Moving & Storage Company to help with my move. I didn't want to have to force my friends to help move my big items. I received a fair quote for moving the large items only. I soon realized though, that it was unrealistic for me to move all the boxes myself. However, I failed to inform them of this. When the movers arrived, they found lots of fun stuff to move. Did they complain? No. Did they yell at me? No. Did they tell me they needed more people? No. Did they tell me I had to reschedule? No. Nothing broke or was destroyed or lost, which has happened in nearly every other move I've ever had done. They came, moved what was there and did one heck of a job. It took longer, and I paid more, but it was very reasonable for the trick move I played on them. They were even fine when it got to be nightfall and my neighbor boys were running into the moving truck. Well done. Highly recommended. more

I would recommend Bay Area Moving & Storage to anyone!! I have moved twice in the last 5 years and with every move I am only happy when it is over and done with. Fortunately this time I chose the right movers and was very surprised. The guys were great, friendly, clean and professional. I didn't feel like I had to watch them every second. We moved last month with Bay Area Moving & Storage and it was a fantastic moving experience. The crew of 4 was fast and efficient and did not damage anything. They were very professional and numbered the boxes so that you can check off each number upon arrival. It is very useful for long distance movers. You may pay a little more than the average mover but in this case you really do get what you pay for! more

These guys were on time, and very professional. From the start they were working at a fast pace. I am very picky when it comes to hiring movers. I've had bad experiences from other moving companies, but Bay Area Moving & Storage were superb and I will recommend them to anybody. more
