It’s not every day you find someone who will care for your car the way you will. (thats assuming you care about your car :)
I recently brought my truck to Baxter's because I had a knock in the steering... well after close inspection, it was evident the track arm and just about all other links/joints in the front end needed replacing. At first, I was not willing to make the investment till Ed walked me into the shop to let me see firsthand what I was dealing with. At that time I decided it was best to take care of all obvious issues. While awaiting a time to get my truck into the shop I had purchased all new shock absorbers and planned to get them installed myself once I was finished healing from surgery.
Now that you have the back story... I dropped off the truck and it was done in half the time they had estimated to include staying late to finish it up. Not only did Ed and Patricia do a great job on the vehicle, but all my shock absorbers were installed while they were awaiting parts at no cost compared to the competition.
Once all was said and done, Ed brought to my attention some slack in the steering gear box but assured me it was not worth spending the money to replace just yet (and its not cheap) and described how and why it was not an issue at the moment. (it’s nice when the one you are paying has your best interest and frugality in mind)
Once again, I am thoroughly impressed with the service, expertise, and integrity at Baxter’s Automotive. He and his wife really go the extra mile to ensure the customer is satisfied and they stand behind their work. I did not expect to have the shocks put in for me, but that just goes to show its not always about making money, but about doing what’s right even if it means more effort... I’st no wonder most of their business is referral based.
Ed/Trish... Sincerely,
Thank you.
