We saw Dr. Bauer yesterday and I was so impressed that I felt the need to write a review. He was EXCELLENT with my children. Very friendly and really tried to get to know my kids and their interests. My kids loved him and when we left my son asked if we could use that doctor all the time. We drove nearly an hour to see him and it was well worth it. One of my sons is a strep carrier and my other son has large tonsils. I felt for sure we we're facing surgery but he did not recommend it in our situation. I was so relieved! If we ever have another ENT issue he'll be the one we use! more

Dr. Murray is such a nice man! Takes special time to make sure all questions are answered and parents understand issue and treatment options. Highly recommend this doctor and office!!! I've already referred two friends that love him too! more

Dr Bauer was our last hope-and he KNEW what was wrong with our son from day 1! He was or 4th opinion, after countless let downs from other physicians. He is the reason our son can hear the world, thanks to his cochlear implants that Dr Bauer implanted. Wonderful with my son, and entire family-kids just love him! Office staff is great, and is a fun experience going into the office for our check ups. more

Took my daughter to see Dr Bauer and it was a wonderful experience! The office staff was great and the office itself was clean and organized. Dr Bauer removed my daughter's tonsils and adenoids and the surgery went off without a hitch! Will ABSOLUTELY use him again if the need arises for ENT stuff. more

2 of my kids have seen Dr. Bauer 9/9/2010

I really like Dr. Bauer. Both my son and my daughter are patients and I have been impressed. While I have not met Dr. Murray, I like Dr. Bauer. He has a no nonsense approach and I really like it. The whole office staff seemed great and super nice. No complaints here. I have referred Dr. Bauer and staff to many friends. A+ from me. more

Don't lump them into the same catagory 3/10/2010

Apparently I've heard great things about Dr. Murray, but I couldn't get Dr. Murray so I got an appointment with Dr. Bauer. Don't do this. Dr. Bauer is a know-it-all who will not let you communicate. Anytime you open your mouth he will cut you off or go off on some rant about how you're wrong or don't know what you're talking about. He was ready to start doing surgery on my daughter before he even examined her. His solution is just to operate and stick tubes in everyone. Find someone else or stick with Dr. Murray. Dr. Murray and the surgery staff were great. 8/22/2008

My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed by Dr. Murray at the Pediatric Surgery Center. He is great and made me feel at ease about the procedure. The nursing staff at the surgery center were awesome. It was a great experience and Dr Murray even called the next day personally to check on my daughter. Most doctors don't do that anymore. I was very pleased and would definitely recommend him. more

Texas Pediatric Surgery centery and Dr. Murray are the bomb! 4/8/2008

My daughter had her adnoids removed by Dr. Murray at Texas Pediatric Surgery Center. The surgery was quick and the staff all the way to the people in the cafeteria were the most helpful and considerate there. Dr. Murray was great about the explaining the procedure and the after procedure expectations. I am very impressed all the way around and would certainly recommend him and the surgery center to everyone. more

Dr Bauer 2/20/2008

My daughter had white spots on her throat, this Dr. specialist after having us wait 2 hours said he simply didn't know what it was. Within 4 hours I was in the ER (boy, did they ever chuckle) that an ENT didn't recognize thrush.
