Before I came to Dr. Rob I had visited another chiropractor before Dr. Rob. I was suffering from migraines every day for months before coming to Dr. Rob. The other chiropractor made me full sick and broken, but Dr. Rob made me full hopeful. After only a few sessions of adjustments and homework, I was relived completely of my pain. \r I started coming here about 8-9 months ago with back pain from some old car accidents. I had been to other chiropractors before – but did not realize that it was not normal to leave the office with pain. All of my adjustments have left me feeling better, not worse! \r One month ago, after making plans for surgery on a badly herniated disc in my lower back, I decide to give chiropractic treatment a try, On recommendations of many middle aged athletes, I brought my injuries to Dr. Bates, without expecting much help with such an obviously damaged herniation. Great Experience\r \r It all started on 11.23.08,CVS had a health fair. I did several tests. This lady did a couple of squeeze press on my back neck , found a problem , an existing one .( I believed her , she didn’t know me or anything about me). I have had a back problem for over 2yrs. Any way cut a long story short.I was referred to Dr. Bates (a very great chiropractic). I can honestly say I have been helped. My first session was very successful. I slept like a baby, I had a wonderful bowel movement (I suffer from a bad case of constipation for years).\r more

After a mountain bike accident and landing on my head, my arms both went numb from the shoulder down. The doctors after several tests and scans said my only option was to operate and fuse the bones in my neck together. I refused surgery so after much debate they finally said they would agree to cortisone shots in my neck every six months, again I refused that option .As a last resort they agreed to allow me to have chiropractic care and physical therapy but did not recommend it and had very little confidence that it would work .That was 12years ago and I feel great . I went to Dr. Rob Bates in the hopes that he could help me with a serious case of vertigo that had been going on with me for 3 weeks. Every time I would lie down in bed or try to get up the world would literally start spinning on me. Ear drops were not helping and I'm not one to consider medication, so I thought maybe he could help. I went in for the free consultation which included xrays and I was given a very ""easy to understand"" education about how chiropractic works. The xrays revealed that my neck had lost 100% of its natural curve. It was as straight as an arrow. I was horrified...but I guess 20 years of sitting at a computer can do that to you. I decided I needed to get serious about this and get regular adjustments so he could help me get my neck back to normal again. Dizziness honestly took a backseat in priorities for me after seeing the state of my neck. I just wanted to get it back to normal again! Much to my surprise, just after my third visit with Dr Rob, my vertigo was COMPLETELY GONE. What a relief! Dr Rob and his staff are kind and friendly people who really want to help. I have been seeing Dr. Rob for almost two years now and I am convinced that he is the most dedicated doctor I have ever met. His knowledge and passion makes him a joy to work with. The office atmosphere is great. The ladies behind the desk are so friendly and welcoming; they genuinely care about everyone who walks through the door. With Dr. Rob's guidance, my neck and back have improved radically. I've been to other chiropractors before, but none have been as effective as Dr. Rob. And he's great with the family too. Dr. Bates and staff have been treating me for several months now and I couldn't me more pleased with the service and dedication to excellence I have received here. I initially came into the office for an adjustment because I work in the area; now I can be seen in the office quite often, even on my days off when I am looking at a 35 mile one way trip in LA traffic!!
