Really is an OUTDOOR WORLD!! 4/24/2007

I have passed several of these big, huge "fishing" headquarters over the last several years. I always thought could they really have that much stuff in there.........boy was it a surprise when I walked into this "other" world. It truly is amazing at all the gadgets and men toys they really do carry. However, after looking around the place, I realized that "somebody" got it right, just enough "decor" and fun things that "anybody" can come in and spend sometime just walking around in here and find something of interesting to occupy their time while the hunter or fisher really does some "serious" shopping. We actually made the stop here to grab a GC for a dear friend, but rest assured that next time I get the chance, I will be back to roam around to see it "all". The facility was clean, the staff was more than helpful, they were friendly and I can't imagine an outdoors man not finding what they need in here. Plenty of parking, though this place draws a crowd, so you may not get to park at more

great sports shop 4/24/2007

This is one of my daughters favorite stops. She loves shopping and could just browse this place for hours. They have not only fishing and camping gear, but some novelty items and clothing. If unsure what to buy for that special person you could purchase a gift card and let them enjoy shopping for themselves. Personally, I think some of the prices are a little much but if you like outdoors and you like fishing and camping, then perhaps you will find something here just for you. more

Who doesn't love this place? 7/8/2005

With the newly bulit Boardwalk surrounding this mecca of all this game and sport, it's only natural to pop into this giant marvel. I'm not a sportsman, but if I were, I would not need to go anywhere but here. They have all kinds of equipment and clothing. And a pretty neat display freshwater fishtank. more

I never thought a sporting goods store could be so much fun to just visit. We get a kick out of seeing the alligators in the front of the store. You can even find some good sales on clothing in there. more

We love going here just to look around. even the kids. There is so much to look at and the kids love looking at the fish tank and the alligators.Its a great place as well to find everything you need for the outdoors. more

Impressive 5/29/2005

We buy a variety of items from them. They had many supplies my spouse needed before going overseas. The people there are always nice and able to assist you. The salespeople in the Boat division are always on hand for any question you have. If they do not have the answer you need, they will find someone that does. I am very satisfied with all my experiences there. more

Points, Selection 5/24/2005

I buy most of my fishing supplies here. They have a huge selection of tackle and bait to choose from for cheap prices. You earn points on your card to purchase other items also. They have someone to answer your questions at every section of the store. Great place to get anything you need for outdoor and or indoor activities. You can also see live alligators and fish. more

My husband loves the points you get everytime you buy something. Or if you don't have your card with you then you can add points on to it with your reciept later on. If you like outdoorsy stuff then this is hte perfect store for you. more

Bass Pro Shop 5/11/2005

WOW this Place has something for everyone. I am not into Fishing and Hunting but we went when Family was in Town and WOW is all I could say. They have Cooking stuff, Seasonings, Clothing, Home Decor and upstairs even a Food Place. I love the layout and how it is set up. Prices are a bit more then other Places but it is nice to walk thru and look :) more

Earn points 5/11/2005

Get a reward card. Everytime you buy something you get points on the card and you can cash them in to buy things. My family loves to shop here. They are a little more on some things but, for the most part is pretty much the same. more

  • In 1971 young Johnny Morris, frustrated by the lack of tackle in local stores, rented a U-Haul trailer and took off across the country filling it with the newest premium fishing tackle he could find.
