French food isn't really my thing but I attended a wedding here not long ago and the food was excellent to my surprise. The atmosphere was lovely and very romantic. more

THE BEST FOR BASQUE CUISINE!!! 10/5/2007

This place is absolutely amazing! Being a member of a Basque family, this place is a staple for weekly dinners. My husband and I even had our wedding reception there, because we knew at least the food would be great. We have never had a bad meal, or service experience in the 20 + years we have been going. Can't top this place! Pros: food, service, culture, parking Cons: i'm not there now! more

my co-workers and I came here one night to check out the food. the neighborhood was a bit scary... but luckily they had a parking lot (free parking!). more

Basque Cultural Center 4/13/2006

My boss had a birthday part at the Basque Cultural Center and it was very nice. I did not care for the interior - it was too dark for a day-time even. But the food was wonderful - I had wonderful fish steak and it was very well done. My coworkers had lots of different dishes and they all loved them. We had a wonderful party there and enjoyed my boss's birthday party. more

Cultural Center 3/1/2006

My mom's friend hosted her daughter's wedding at the Basque Cultural Center. I was really surprised at the ambiance that they offered for such a low price. You are usually charged an arm and a leg to host a wedding/party, but not here. And they definitely do not skimp at the quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening and I would recommend Basque for any event. If you will be planning any kind of party, take a look at this amazing french restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. more

Excellent Food!! 5/19/2004

The food is wonderful. The chefs are great and the service is wonderful. You get so much food! Soup, salad, and bread comes with every meal, get the nightly special and you also get ice cream )all for like $16). And it's great to see all the Basque Culture going on. It can get busy especially on the weekends so be sure to get a reservation! Pros: Free parking, Great value, Great food! more

The service at this place was horrible. It took forever to get waters, drinks, the attention of our waitress. And she didn't seem busy at all. Most of the time she disappeared into the kitchen. There were a lot of older people dining at this place. The pork chop was good as was the ratatouillie. The nougat dessert was good, but the spumoni ice cream is better. The rack of lamb looked good, but I didn't try it. Since the service was so bad, it took us 3 hours to get out of the place, I wouldn't go back. Pros: parking, dessert Cons: , food, soup was bad more

Top Notch! 4/21/2004

Every meal I have had here is excellent. Lamb, steak, fish . . . it's always great. The ambiance isn't very awe inspiring and it's a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Every meal comes with salad and delicious soup. Pros: Excellent food, Good parking, Good service more
