I wish there was a negative star rating. Our little yorkie was prescribed a medication by another vet but her care was transferred over to gentle doctor animal hospital. She began to show all sorts of the negative side effects (throwing up, note eating, lethargic, depressed)related to this drug and the gentle doctor never told us to discontinue use! Furthermore the doctor didn't know why she was throwing up or lethargic or wouldn't eat...she told us it was because she was dehydrated! I had to do research myself and meet with a specialist to find out (after she started vomitting blood) that it was due to this medicine. Sad to say my sweet yorkie died 1/6/12 from kidney failure due to the toxicity of this medicine. If the gentle doctor was knowledgeable about this drug and had properly diagnosed her my baby would still be with me today. RIP Carmella you will forever be loved.
