I bought a 2004 Volvo S60. My sales rep was nice enough, a little sneaky but most are. I needed a spare key, the car only came with one. So she told me she would call when it came in and I could have it sync for free. Two months go by and I CALL THEM. They transferred me to three people before some one could tell me that my sales person quit. Then I had to call back because the sales manager was busy. After getting the run around with that (another 40 days) I finally got to the point of being able to come in and get the new key sync with my car and I could be on my way. I was moving to Virginia the day after my appointment so I had no time to lose. The sales manager promised to get me out quick and even wash and vaccum my car too, "send me out of Mass looking good", he told me. Well the key was cut wrong, which leads me to believe they never ordered me a key at all. And my car didn't get cleaned. So the sales manager told me he would order the new one and send it down, and after I got it sync, to send him the bill and he would cover it. I didnt receive the key for 2 weeks, so I called, AGAIN. I get this response, "oh he doesnt work here anymore", so now you can understand my frustration. It then took the parts manager to lie to me about sending out my key, another month (and counting), and three voice mails for the new sales manager for me to threaten to have my lawyer involved. I was told by the new sales manager that he had never heard of me but if he had he would have handled me personaly, so he gets my key right there and says they were sending it out priority. That was May 28, and it is now June 4. I have most recently sent them an email, with no response (how suprising). I would love nothing else than to see that place lose their Volvo certification and every one of them be out a job! I loath that establishment more than I have ever hated anything ever in my life. My first vehicle I purchase on my own, and they ruin my experience!
Pros: Volvo's are great cars, great selection of certified pre-owned
Cons: horrific customer care, horrific retention rate of employees, love to pass to the buck
