My car is not fancy or new so I appreciate their service that I can depend on Barr's to give my car and the great kindness and consideration they always give to my circumstances so that I can take care of life and loved ones in a timely way....right when I need to. more

very quick appt obtained 8/8/2016

Had a State Inspection, the inspection approval slip was placed in car vs being handed to customer with the receipt. The inspection approval form was lost in the car. Will have to pay for another inspections in order to have piece of paper to take to the DMV. more

Honesty Could Be Garry's Middle Name 6/24/2016

I took 2 cars in to Garry this week for oil changes. I also told him anything else that needed fixing to do so. When I picked up the cars there were NO extra charges over the oil changes. You can trust Garry with your vehicles, and not have your bill loaded with extra's. I have always found him to be dependable, honest, and easy to talk to. He knows his business, and yet is very personable to deal with. His Mechanics are tops and know how to fix things the first time. Also, Sonia, his Secretary/Receptionist is also excellent to deal with. Can't go wrong at Barr's Auto Repair. They are superb! more

Had a starting problem with my car. He got it running after being towed to his location. The problem was connected with rain to a degree. He had a hunch on what the problem might be, even though he had no problem starting the car. I rely on his hunches quite often and considering the age of the parts he was referring to, agreed to replace the parts in question. So far, I have not had any problem starting the car even in or after it has been raining. more

Personable, Professional, Fair 5/18/2016

I spent 13 years taking my car to a junk mechanic: repeat visits, price hikes, driving out of his shop with maintenance lights popping on. Finding Barrs was a blessing. Gary and his staff aren't afraid to get to know you but keep its professional. I dropped off my car once thinking my breaks needed a complete overhaul and Gary said I just had a rust spot on a clamp, popped it off and sent me on my way for free. Great people. 10/10 would recommend. more
