Do not, and I repeat, do not waste your time with them. They are scam artists who make up their own good reviews on here and other sites and will probably write another one after I post this claiming to be someone else saying ""no, what that person said was wrong and I bought 2 or 3 cars from them and I love them and when everyone else said No we said Yes."" This is a complete lie. They don't help you out, they get you in, tell you ""no I'm sorry but we can't do anything now but we will get back to you and see what we can do."" Do you know the best part? I got 2 places to say yes and they were the only one to say no!!! Keep that in mind!!! more

Get a ""Yes"" when other's say ""No!"" 5/3/2012

I typically don't review businesses, but I must do so today. Barrett Motors is awesome! Ususally, if your credit is shot and you need a nice car, you're simply out of luck. However, these folk are miracle workers! The cars are nice and the prices are affordable. So the next time you need a nice pre-owned vehicle, check them out and save yourself the hassle. To date, I've purchased two cars from this place and will certainly return when ready! - ae more

My family LOVES Barrett Motors! 4/22/2012

My family LOVES Barrett Motors! I have a car, mom has a car AND my dad has one! We told my cousin about them and they went up there and got a car with no problems at all! Every time we go in there everyone is extremly nice to us. I love Ronny he is awesome! Every one has a great attitude and I just feel so comfortable there..They don't waste your time or anything..Super nice people. I'm for sure going to go back to Barrtett to get my next car! (Which I hope and dream that it will be a dodge charger) HAHA See you soon Barrett Mottors! more

When everyone said ""No"", The Barrett Motor family said ""YESSSSSS"". They didn't put us in a certain category to get a certain car but we go the car of our dreams...a fire engine red Mustang!. Just bought a 2008 Chevy Cobalt from Barrett yesterday - first car of my own. (Rockin' Ronny & Donny!!) They worked with me so well and did everything they could to get me in the perfect car. When it came to paper work, Donny explained to me what all to look out for if I ever purchase from someone else. The reason I chose Barrett was because my parents have been purchasing cars from here for years and have always had a wonderful experience and gotten great cars, too. You can really trust these guys to take care of you. more

5 Star Pre-Owned Dealership !! 4/19/2012

If you are in the market for a clean, dependable, pre-owned car, then Barrett Motors is the place. Absolutely the easiest and fastest I've experienced with buying a car. Ronnie Briggs in Rowlett went above and beyond with my purchase from start to finish. Nothing like the dreaded process I was expecting from a car salesman. I WENT TO SO MANY DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND WAS TURNED AWAY .. I FINALLY GAVE UP AND CAME ACROSS BARRETT MOTORS ONLINE AND DECIDED I WOULD JUST GIVE IT A TRY AND BRIAN HELPED ME AND MADE IT A VERY EASY PROCESS.. THEY STICK TO THEIR WORD AND WILL HELP YOU NO MATTER WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO TO GET IT DONE.. THEY ARE A DEALERSHIP WE WILL ALWAYS USE NOW.. AND ABOUT TO BUY A TRUCK WITH THEM .. THE BEST PLACE TO BUY A CAR! 1/24/2010

We have been dealing with Barrett Motors for about two years. I have to say that this is an awesome family owned business and the greatest thing is that they make you feel like one of the family. I first met the Barrett?s when I had an accident in my black Explorer and I was so upset when it was beyond repair and I had to find another vehicle. I searched the internet and found my baby. (My New Black Explorer) I called and spoke to Michael Barrett and he said not to worry to come on in and drive it and assured me that I would be going home with it. I have been so happy every since. We have also since then bought another car for which my husband calls Grace. We have been truly happy. No matter what happens in life, Barrett Motors is a great group of people and will work with you anyway they can. We appreciate the opportunity they gave us to own two awesome vehicles. more

Great Dealer Ship 1/18/2010

I needed to buy a SUV because my ?95 minivan was about to die. I went to 4 auto lots and could not get anyone to help me with financing. Barrett Motors bent over backwards to find the SUV I wanted (color, make and the year). They gave me the financing and the payments I was looking for. And a great bunch of people working for them from the sales department to the service department! Pros: Great dealer with alot of cars more

Get a car or truck from Barrets is easy! 1/2/2010

I have purchased two vehicles from Barrett motors . They are the nicest and will do whatever it takes to help you get into a nice vehicle that fits your needs. Just go and test drive and get approved and take your new car home. That easy. They even have a service center that will work on your vehicle and help you maintain it. Take Check stubs, utility bill, 10 references of family and friends addresses and phone #'s, and lease agreement if you rent to prove where you live. They report everything to Experian and that is good for your credit. They report good but they also report bad so don't be late:). Pros: Easy process Cons: None that i have experienced. more

A great family business helping Texas Families 12/28/2009

After deciding to get another vehicle with no so perfect credit. We went to Barrett and spoke with a sales man. We picked out a few vehicles we liked and test drove about 3 of them and decided what one we wanted we talked about what kind of down payment we wanted and they let us take the car out for lunch while they did the paperwork. When we can back one of the Barretts sat down and did the final paperwork. Most dealerships dont have that one on one time much less have one of the head people sit down with you to do the paperwork.. A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE LOOKING FOR A GREAT CAR AT A GREAT PRICE! Pros: Friendliest sales people, not pushly like other dealerships more
