My favorite store for peace and quiet. 11/10/2005

I love going to the one in Whitemarsh to have some quiet time to myself. It's nice to just grab a cup off coffee and read a nice book or magazine and not have anyone bothering you like your children. They staff is very respectful and never follows you around the store everything is so nice and neat on the shelves. Nice place to meet with a friend also. more

Relaxing and well-organized 7/27/2005

The atmosphere at the White Marsh Barnes & Noble is its best feature - calm and quiet, even when busy. It has a great, well-separated kids area with a train set and a story time area. There is a nice quiet coffee bar for adults to relax in. Great selection and knowledgeable staff. more

Barnes & Noble Makes Books Fun! 6/28/2005

Barnes & Noble is a cut above its predecessor, Borders, for a variety of reasons. The most important of these is the greater selection offered. Not only is there a greater book selection, but their music department has more as well. Signs, good help, and vivid promos make it easy to find what you're looking for. more

Barnes & Noble White Marsh 6/1/2005

The White Marsh Barnes & Noble is a nice bookstore. Not only is everything accessible and easy to find, but sales representatives are eager to help customers find what they need. Barnes & Noble is a fixture at the Avenue at White Marsh, and it provides a quiet reprieve from the activity around the area. more
