A nice place for coffee, a book and good service. Staff waits on you and will ask to assist you. Sometimes you would prefer not to have this but it can be nice to know they are attentive. \r Spacious and has a few comfy chairs for those preferring to read. I prefer the set up for the kids section here. It is a bit different from other stores. more

Friendly like small, books like big 7/11/2005

Staff here are warm and welcoming as though they ran a little shop on Main Street instead of a huge Barnes and Noble in a huge mall-ish community. They know their books and their clientele and make an effort to marry the two. You have to know your way around Raleigh to find this store, located in a new superplex of yuppy stores. Coffee and comestibles served. PROS: Big chain with small shop feeling CONS: lost in mall wilderness more
