B & N always has a great magazine selection. I can always find what I am looking for and so can my wife. We always end up in the bargain section and leave with some fantastic cheap books. Cool little gift section too! more

Inquiring Masses, No really, even though I've worked for the company (and since I was fired you all should believe me) I prefer B&N to all other bookstores I've tried in the area. If new texts are your thing, then B&N is the place to look. And you can usually locate whatever you need online before going in, usually. And even though the membership costs, it's worth it if you enjoy reading. $25 a year is minor, if you shop there more than twice a year. Anyway, go see 'em. And get some coffee, which is where I used to work, and don't tell them I sent you....jk. You can tell them, but they probably won't even acknowledge you for it. Just go! And read while you're there if you're not sure about buying something...they don't mind. Take care. I like the atmosphere of borders better. B&N is a little less lively. They probabaly have a a smaller collection of books. The plus sides - you can listen to samples from any cd on thier scanners, there is a starbucks in the store, and they have a large selection of mags. more

Whether you are looking for books, magazines, music, or a place to relax and read for a little while, this it the place to go. Their selection of books is massive and you can find something on nearly any subject you want. There is a fun little coffee shop inside the store and you can get your drink, find a book or magazine and sit and read for however long you want. The layout of the store is easy to navigate so you don't get lost. The restrooms are usually pretty clean and well stocked. I have been known to lose half a day in this store. more

I don't recommend this store because of their book selection, although that is also great, or because of their neat cafe, but because of their music area. They have this set up where you can scan the CD you're interested in and then listen to it...its awesome. more
