Absolutely the best grooming service in town--totally professional, pleasant and always on time! CJ, our mixed keeshond/collie is a big, fluffy girl, and I've taken her to many groomers in the northside area during her 12 years...CJ agrees with me that Barktown deserves a blue ribbon and a big bag of treats! more

There is so much I love about being a customer at Barktown & Suds. Bobby is a very pleasant, friendly and knowledgable person, always willing to give advice when asked and he has a genuine passion and love for animals! Shirley always does a FABULOUS job on bathing my dog and she listens to me when I request a specific cut. Thank you Barktown & Suds! We appreciate you being a part of our community. more

Great shop for dog grooming and essentials 5/29/2013

This is a wonderful dog grooming shop. They also sell food and supplies. Te owner is very knowledgable and extremely interested in your pet's needs. I had no problem scheduling an appointment on line. They were great, I'll use them from now on. more

Katie and Ben Ben groom with Valerie 5/6/2013

Both of my golden retrievers saw Valerie yesterday and look beautiful. They love going to see her! Ben Ben is a rescue dog believed to be between 15-17 and Katie is 14 years old. Valerie always considers Ben Ben's age and level of mobility and is so patient with him. Thank you Valerie! more

Since I am usually the first to seek others reviews, I am compelled to share my experiences with Barktown. Shirley has been amazing with our coton de tulear. Our baby has always been treated with the utmost care and looks like a million bucks when we pick him up. I highly recommend Barktown. more

Excellent service 2/13/2013

This was our first trip to Barktown and Suds and I was very pleased. A friend had recommended them and so would I. My havanese had quite a few mats and would not let me brush or trim her, but Valerie was able to groom her without totally shaving her to the skin. She looked beautiful. Thanks! more

Wonderful shop/wonderful service 2/5/2013

I am a regular customer of Barktown. I am consistently satisfied with how Shirley grooms my Papillion. I really like the fact that they work on ONE dog at a time and are with your dog the entire time you leave them for grooming. Bennie is always happy when he is handed back to me. We were on a tight travel schedule and needed a groomer for our golden retriever. Barktown and Suds was the perfect salon. We were able to schedule an appointment online. They were great! MacKenzie was beautiful when they finished. We appreciated how fast she was done, how good she looked and how happy she was when we picked her up. Thanks. more
