Lost my groomer, found Barktown by accident. Bobby the owner is great. Valerie is an amazing groomer and a true animal lover. Excellent. Thanks Barktown.

We've been bringing Ralphie to Barktown and Suds for about two years now and wouldn't think of taking him anywhere but here for grooming. He is a very "hairy" Australian Shepherd and he comes back from his grooming appointment looking shiny and with a bounce in his step because he knows he is very handsome. Thank you guys for taking such good care of Ralphie! more

We used to use Shirley but after a few cuts, my dog tried not to even walk in the shop so we tried Valerie this time. She was GREAT. We could hear her talking to him in the back when we went to get him, so, so sweetly. His cut is great and he didn't seem as wound up as before. GO VALERIE! more

Love, love, love Barktown and Suds! 2/21/2012

What a great experience. After trying many groomers in the area, I feel like we have finally found a 'home'. Valerie is very skilled at grooming and was very interested in finding out what I wanted. Bobby is very helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work! more

Great Grooming on a VERY spoiled dog! 12/15/2011

Gizmo HATES having his face touched but Valerie is incredibly patient and sweet with him. I know she's hoarse when she's done with him! I also appreciate Bobby's knowledge of products although I hate to tell him because it gives him a big head :) more

LOVE BARKTOWN AND SUDS Grooming !!! 12/13/2011

Loved the whole experience of having my dogs groomed at Barktown - The owner, Bobby is super nice and organized and has developed a loyal following. I won't take my dogs anywhere else - The groomer, Valerie, is gentle and thorough and loves dogs ! I can get everything I need for my dogs at Barktown and Suds ! more

Great individual attention for my dog! 12/8/2011

I have a Papillion and many groomers are not familiar with how to groom this breed. Shirley at Barktown does a FABULOUS job and when I ask for attention to specific details, she follows through. The best thing....my dog comes home calm and happy because he gets one on one attention from the moment I drop him off until I pick him up. more

Shirley is always on schedule. No wait to drop off or pick up. She usually takes one dog at a time so our dog gets individualized attention. She grooms him exactly like we ask. This is the place to take you dog for grooming! more

Previously, when Sammy would get groomed at other places, he would be a little bashful and when we got him home. Since being groomed at barktown & suds, he is beautiful and in a happy mood. Big improvement from other groomers!! more

I took my dog for grooming with Valerie. I was very impressed with the easy process to make a reservation online. She focuses 100% on your dog - which is rare! Valerie was able to fix a botched haircut that we got from another groomer and made our dog look amazing. I am very impressed with the level of service in the store overall and will recommend to all my friends! The best in Dunwoody! more

Barktown and Suds is THE ONLY place my husband & I will bring our two yorkies for grooming! They are gentle souls, and are in need of an expert and caring approach, which the dog groomer provides . She gives the most stylish cuts around, and doesn't take any short cuts. The natural pet products such as dog food an supplements are also excellent. HOORAY for this great place!!! Robin Keuneke more

HARLEY THE SCHNAUZER 7/28/2011

Harley had his second grooming experience with me as his rescue parent. The first grooming salon didn't do nearly as nice a Schnauzer cut as Barktown and Suds. His nails were well cared for and he was chipper and happy to see me when I got there, merely 1 /2 hrs. after dropping him off. Good Job! more

I took my Labradoodle in for grooming and a nail trim and he must have enjoyed it because when it was over he did not want to leave. I have never seen him look so cute. He definitely enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and I will be bringing him back soon. more

I took our Havanese to Barktown after another groomer refused to groom him because he was so matted. Valerie was so sweet. They were very honest about the possibility of having to shave him to the skin. She was so gentle and I was so pleasantly surprised when I saw him. He is precious! She even put a cute little bandana around his neck:) more

Always comfortable leaving my dog to be groomed 5/14/2011

I love the fact that my dog is getting someone's undivided attention when he is there and doesn't have to wait in line with other dogs for the next step in the grooming process. Thanks to Bobby for having such a great small business in Dunwoody. more

This was the first time Sigi every had grooming, Long-Hair Dachshunds usually dont get hair cuts, but Sigis hair is so fine that everything from outside sticks to it. The cut is great and he is so much happier. more
