I have been going to Barking Barbers for 15 years and I love them. My dogs always come out of there looking beautiful. As long as I have dogs we will always go to Barking Barbers. The girls there are WONDERFUL!!! Pros: null Cons: null more

I have to say my family (mom and myself) have beenn taking pets to BB for YEARS the first review, in my opinion, is false trying to get people to go elsewhere perhaps. Where you take your dog or cat is your business but the girls at BB are the best. And if they discover they need to to anything additional they always call and ask first. more

We have been taking our dogs there for more than 12 yrs, they take great care of the dogs, yrs ago our dog roki had a siezure while in their care, they were very considerate and helpful with her. We have all the trust and faith in these girls. My wife and i always recommend BARKING BARBERS to all our friends, we have one dog that has difficult hair to manage, harley, she always comes home looking great!! the other one , riley, is always shy but always has a great time with them and looks fabulous. again we can't express it any better,, BARKING BARBERS is the place to go for 5 STAR service!!!!!!! I've been taking my Mini Schnauzer there for over two years now and he always comes back looking great. I know they take care of the animals like they are their own, as my dog is never scared, or mad when I pick him up. I don't know how they do it, as he will never let me get near him with clippers or scissors. So kudo's to the girls at BB. I have an american eskimo and he is a very shy and sensitive dog. When I moved to N Ridgeville 18 mos. ago I was worried because I needed to find a good groomer in the area. Well I did. The staff is extremely friendly. My dog now gets the best cut ever. When he returns home he is not scared or in a bad mood so I know they treat him well. I would not take him anywhere else. They also give out the cutest ornaments during the holidays with the hair they cut from your dog inside the glass ornament. They go the extra mile!! I highly recommend them!! whoever wrote that review, we have no idea who it is, i have been in business 29 yrs and value my customers and want each to be very happy with there haircut, sometimes what they want want and what they are able to get are two different things, but we make them aware of this before we do it, maltese hair is very hard to keep from not being tangled and some people think they have brushed it out, but the hair closest to the skin is knotted and malteses have sensitive skin also, so i'm not going to put the dog in any pain just for the dog to look pretty, but we will tell the owner we can't or won't do it, and give them the choice. i take pride in my business and so do all my employees, so when someone writes something like this that we don't know about, i just don't undersyand why they did not bring it to my attention, so we could take care of the situation, so if i was such a bad groomer, there is no way we would be in business for so long. we love what we do!!!!!!! had to write to protect my hard working employees and my business. thanks for reading Pros: love your pets Cons: none more

My friend took her super cute Maltese puppy there.. and they gave it a chop shop job instead of making her cuter..The groomer shaved her practically completely which is not what they asked for and cut her facial hair to look like a schnauzer.. a boy schnauzer :-( and they said they did this because the dogs fur was matted and then charged twelve dollars extra , when I know for a fact that the dog's fur was not matted because my mom had combed her the night before with no problem. I would never take my dog there, I feel that my friend was ripped off and taken advantage of. I could have done a better trim job.. at least mine would have been even.. and I could have done that for free. :-( SO a word to the wise.. stay away from the butchers.. er,... I mean barbers that bark if you want to save more than your money.. like your dogs vanity. The noble thing would be for these people to give my friend her forty bucks back. Cons: The worst groomer that I've seen so far more
