I brought an heirloom ring to this sad excuse for a jewelry repair shop. After I got the run around for weeks about why the repair was taking so long, I finally was told I could pick up the ring. I paid cash for the repair, went to my car, looked at the so-called repair and immediately realized the original stone was not in the ring. I went back to speak to whoever did the work and he refused to come out and speak to me. I was repeatedly lied to, and luckily I immediately requested a copy of the envelope my ring had been in, which had writing on it. I also insisted I receive a receipt , which did not even have the store's name on it. I demanded my stone back. I was told by the clerk "if we ever replace a stone, we tell you", and even laughed as she said this. The writing on the envelope that I went back in and insisted I receive a copy of had it in writing that the stone was replaced. I continually insisted on my stone back. I was finally told that the stone broke in so many pieces that the jeweler threw it away. I left and had an attorney call the store, who demanded the stone back. I had the stone back, which was broken in half by the end of the day. This place repeatedly lied to me, and in my opinion tried to steal a stone that had been in my family for 3 generations. My father had recently died, and I was having the ring repaired for my brother. I have told/warned all who I know to avoid this place like the plague. When I brought in the ring, I even had the clerk have the jeweler look at the ring to make sure they thought it could be repaired because it was very old, and frail. I was told it would be no problem. This ring had large sentimental value to me and my family. This place could have cared less. Do not bring anything of any value to this place, they lie, and obviously think they can pull a fast one on customers. If I had not viewed that particular ring on my dad's hand since the day I was born, I would not have known that the stone had been replaced with a piece of crap. BEWARE.
