One of the worst dinners I've ever had. I'm pretty certain most of my meal was poured out of a can or defrosted in a microwave. Location is terrible. Felt like I was risking my life walking from parking lot to restaurant. more

Barbeque Lodge Catered food for a county ceremony affair. I do not understand how people can say that this is the best Southern food they have ever had. My co-workers and I agree that this is the worst food we ever had...and we eat anything. The food was loaded with grease..Their buffet presentation was the worst I have ever seen. Needless to say we will never eat their food again. We give it an A for Awful. more

Greasy Southern Cooking 4/13/2006

If you can't handle your grease then yuo shouldnt try eating at the barbeque lodge. This place has tons of fried and grease filled options for you to enjoy dining upon. I like their fried chicken, but always feel like an extra trip to the gym in nessisary after I eat here. Beyond the grease this is some fantastic southern cooking. Great barbeque. more

My favorite Barbeque place 3/22/2006

Barbeque Lodge is far and away my favorite barbeque place. With its all you can eat family style dining, we have never run out of barbeque, fried chicken, hushpuppies or slaw. Here macaroni and cheese is considered a vegetable. While not a good choice for people who are watching their weight, it is definitely a satisfying eating experience. more

Yummy Barbeque 2/22/2006

I really enjoy the barbeqque from here. ive never dined in, but i have gotten take out from here...a lot. they do their take out from a side room attached to the building, it has a seperate entrance, and you order and pick it up right there. they have alswyas been very qquick, and the food has been consistantly good. My brother really likes the chicken from here, good place to pick up lunch for the office in a hurry. more

Some people in Raleigh think the barbeque available here is the best they have ever had. Having been to many barbecue restaurants, my opinion is that the barbecue is mediocre at best. The barbecue is chopped and has a vinegar taste to it and is served with coleslaw and cornbread. The banana pudding they serve here for dessert is very good. more

Delicious BBQ 8/21/2005

Barbeque at this North Raleigh restaurant has been described by many as the best in the city. At this low-service restaurant, delicious plates of chopped and vinegared pork come out, along with sides of coleslaw and cornbread. Dessert is banana pudding. It's excellent barbeque, but it's most fun going with great friends. more
