Baranette's Bridal Shoppe & Tuxedo

OMG Baranette?s is the best! I went to several other places first. I was so confused and so disappointed. I walked into Baranette?s and was so wowed by the look of the store and couldn?t believe how clean and pretty it was compared to all the other stores I was at. My mom and I were greeted by the owner Dawn super nice! She walked us over to meet Marie our consultant also super nice! Marie asked me a little bit about what I was looking for. She immediately picked out several gowns for me to try on. Needless to say I found the gown of my dreams ?silk with beautiful lace and beading? along with my veil, headpiece and jewelry. We spent much less then I originally was expecting to pay. My dress came in and all my fitting were perfect. I was always greeted by name by everyone in the store. Were do you get this kind of service anymore? I felt like I was family. My mom and bridesmaids also got their dresses here and they all loved everyone at the store. Don?t waste your time by going anywhere else more

I have to say I was in several of my friends weddings this past year and we got our tuxedos from your typical men?s store. I won?t mention the name, the service was ok. Then one of my friends decided on Baranette?s. At first I thought it was strange going to a bridal shop. Once I was there all the women were so nice and friendly. Everything fit so perfect that was the first time that has ever happened for me. So when I got married I had to use Baranette?s and again all was perfect. I can?t say enough about the women at Baranette?s. I tell all my friends that this is the place to go. more

Best place ever!!!! In the past 5 years I have been in 5 weddings. I have gotten 4 out of the 5 dresses at Baranette's. Dawn the owner is great. Every time I have been in there I see her go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome in her store. I have been to many stores and never have I seen any one that takes as much interest in all their customers as Dawn does. Her staff is great they are all so nice and make everyone feel welcome. I hate when I see a bad review on this place I just try and remember that there is always 2 sides to a story.This place is truly a hidden GEM that everyone should know about. more

We used Baranette's bridal for the men's tux's and had a very bad experience with them. We originally went through Men's Warehouse since we had a few groomsmen from out of town, but we were very unable with their selection. Baranette's said they can handle groomsmen from out of town and that they would just have to fax their measurements into the shop. They do have a very wide selection of tux's in different colors and styles. Like the below review, the beginning of our experience with the shop was very good and we left happy until the week before our wedding. The shop called and said that the tux's are ready and that they can be picked up Wednesday afternoon. more

I went in and really had the store the store to myself. I had a decent sized budget so I was able to try on a lot, but they did not have that many to begin with. I put on tons of dresses even had one in my top running. Marie was very nice and beyond understanding. She listened to me versus my tagalongs. The little extra touch was the handwritten thank you card she sent me for just shopping. I didn't find THE dress, but you should check it out in case you do. more

These guys were awesome! They were very helpful from the moment I walked in and made the biggest part of my big day that much easier! They called me as soon as my gown came in (which is the worst...the waiting!). They even custom made my veil at no additional cost. All their alterations are done for a flat fee of $200. They made sure everything was ready a month ahead of time. more

I bought my wedding dress at Baranettes. The staff there is absolutely amazing! They are so helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Dawn, the shop owner, takes it upon herself to make sure each and every bride, bridesmaid and mother of the bride/groom looks nothing less than perfect on the special day! more

I had the best experience at the shoppe.their prices are excellent. I got everything for my wedding at Baranette's.I looked awesome,My bridesmaids,flower girls and both mothers were stunning! The guy's also got their tuxedo's and they sure did look handsome. I can't say enough about Baranette's, it should be you one and only place you shop.I would and do recommend Baranette's to everyone I know. more

If I could give this no stars, I would. I ordered my wedding gown, shoes, veil, bridesmaid dresses, and flower girl dresses from here and everything sans my dress and accessories turned out to be a complete nightmare. Every dress except for mine arrived late (2 weeks before my wedding), three different seamstresses worked on the dresses, which were all the wrong size, one of the girls went in to pick her dress up and was told that they'd done another girls dress by mistake, the flower girl dresses weren't done until the day before the wedding (family missed the rehearsal/dinner because they had to go pick them up), and nobody wanted to take responsibility for the shop's lack of professionalism. I would advise you to avoid ordering anything or having anything altered at this store. I'd read negative reviews on this shop on other review sites and decided to ignore them because the consultant who worked with me on my dress was amazing (I still feel that way despite all the stress this has caused) and because everything had gone so well with my gown and accessories, but clearly I should have taken my maids and flower girls elsewhere. This made the last 2 weeks before my wedding a complete and total disaster. more

I have been to several bridal shops around Maryland and Pennsylvania. Not only does Baranette's have a great selection of wedding apparel and accessories, but their customer service surpasses that of their competitors. These days, it is very difficult to find such great service. Dawn and the rest of her staff are awesome! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. I ordered my gown, my bridesmaid dresses, junior bridesmaid dress and flower girl dress from them. I would highly recommend them to any friend or family member! more

I loved my experience here. Dawn and Kim were unbelievable from start to finish. At first I did not even think I was going to purchase my dress here only because looking outside of the store, it looks quite small but when walking in, there are endless styles of dresses. I liked this store so much that I dressed my entire wedding party here. The end result, the day of my wedding I received countless compliments on my dress. more

Baranette's Bridal Shop is the way to go! The staff are friendly, helpful and truly aid you in choosing the perfect gown!! There are several bridal stores in my area but nothing compares to Baranette's. I highly recommend checking out this store if you are planning your wedding. Great selection of gowns and you don't feel overwhelmed!!! more

This place was great! They helped me find the perfect dress. I received it at an amazing price. They took lots of time with, I was there for 2 hours and no one tried to rush me. When I went for the fitting, that was wonderful. I loved the dress even more. And I received a discount on the alterations since the dress fit almost perfect! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants personal service, beautiful dresses and at an amazing price. My experience was great! more

The girls at this store are amazing! So helpful and are not pushy like some places. Dawn packed my dress for my wedding in Jamaica and arrived in mint condition (this is even after I was forced to fold my dress and put it on the overhead compartment!!) Baranette's provides top notch service and quality dresses for a reasonable price. LOVE THEM!!! more

Fantastic bridal shop! Great selection of dresses and many of them not your ""typical"" strapless gown. Make sure you have an appointment because it can be busy and try to avoid Saturdays. Dawn, the owner, is very friendly and provides a lot of feedback about the dresses you try on and helps to make sure the dress you pick meets all of your expectations and fulfills your dreams! Do not be put off by the outside appearance of the store (I was initially taken aback by its look)- it looks as thought it may have been a CVS or some kind of drugstore before it became a bridal shop. The inside appearance of the store itself also looks like it may have been a drugstore that was then cleared out to hang dresses, BUT the dress selection is phenomenal despite not having a huge quantity (I also looked at dresses at Bridaltown and although they had many more dresses, there selection in styles was much more limitied). It is a great place to start for your dress shopping and I encourage you to try on as many different styles as possible, because there were a few that I didn't really like on the hanger but absolutely LOVED when I tried them on. The woman who does alterations is also fantastic and very quickly pins and adjusts things to make your dress fit perfectly! I would recommend this store to anyone of my closest friends. more
