Bar Louie-Central West End

Stay Away!!! went to your restaurant with my niece and Nephew to eat we ordered burgers as you guys had a special and a appetizer and drinks. i specifically told the guy i would have my burger cooked well done. He said oh they are always well done. 45 minutes later we get burgers. i proceed to prepare mine to eat I slice the burger in half and the meat inside is all rare. I send it back and I dont want to order anything else. My niece order was wrong so she had to send back as she ordered a cheeseburger not a hamburger. my nephews was wrong as well. my niece asked for the manager who then came over and immediately began to tell us how busy the restaurant is and how you have 24 tables outside. I intervened and as I explained to him as a customer i dont care about your volume thats your issue I just expect what i order to be correct. he repeated two more times abut the volume and how busy you guys were. I finally told him let me explain to you how i as the customer feel. Im not concerned about any other table in the building im only concerned about me its all about me as the customer so telling me how busy you are really doesnt cut it and please dont do it again. I finally said look if i have anything else to say I will contact your Corporate office. He then said i can handle it whatever it is i looked at him and said look we are done. At this point he asked us to leave your restaurant. and escorted us to the door in a way to try to humiliate me. You cant tell me this is a acceptable way to handle a situation. I moved here a few months ago, and Bar Louie is by far our favorite neighborhood bar/restaurant. They have an excellent menu (not your typical ""bar food"" but actually great cuisine... try the fish tacos!) and a full bar as well. It's a great place to go on a Fri or Sat night, really nice scene with normal, cute guys/gals. The staff is incredible and provide excellent service upon each visit. Great place for a meal, a drink, or just somewhere to hang out at the bar and watch a game on one of the many tvs. I am so happy we found this place in our neighborhood-- I only wish they stayed open past 1:30 am! Pros: food, crowd, staff Cons: none-- close too early? more
