Things are going well here so far. The landscaping and all of the flowers are beautiful, and the people treat me very well.

It can all be confusing and overwhelming for a while. Your aunt is very sweet and pleasant and very sociable. She is managing to make friends with certain other residents. I predict and believe she will continue to become more settled and will eventually accept this as her new home. It is a pleasure to have her here. Have a nice weekend. more

You put up with her screaming with gentleness, you smiled at her, when she was sad, you laughed with her when she talked about her children. I know you are not perfect, but that's what made it look more like home. more

hanks for the kind words.Eileen has adjusted well for the most part. It is normal for new residents, to want to leave as it is a major life change to come to a new place to live , and all the new people they have to get to know. It can all be confusing and overwhelming for a while. Your aunt is very sweet and pleasant and very sociable. She is managing to make friends with certain other residents. I predict and believe she will continue to become more settled and will eventually accept this as her new home. It is a pleasure to have her here. Have a nice weekend. more

Hi Sean, Thanks for the kind words.Eileen has adjusted well for the most part. It is normal for new residents, to want to leave as it is a major life change to come to a new place to live , and all the new people they have to get to know. Very Good Dementia Care 11/10/2010

We are always overwhelmed with the outstanding job all of you do...from job management...to nursing...to the beautiful decor...to the chef...to the aids...to maintenance -- our hats are off to all of you!! You put forth such an incredible effort to make sure life for my precious mother and all who live there is so special. It was very nice of Sterling Glen to plan the Christmas Party. . . I want to praise every one of our staff here for the extra effort they put in preparing the party. As usual, the food was not only attractively presented but plentiful and delicious. more
