The prices are high, but more important, the help is unspeakably rude. In a world where other fabric stores aim to please, this store does not deserve to be in business.

Yes the fabric is lovely and the women who work there are quite helpful. But avoid the gentleman who owns the store at all costs. He can be overbearing and, at times, shockingly inappropriate. more

Great Experience 8/28/2010

Ive ordered swatches through Banksville because I live a bit far from their store, and they were really pleasant over the phone. After receiving swatches in the mail in a VERY timely fashion, I purchased a beautiful wool tweed from them, in colors that are difficult to find anywhere. For the quality, the price was right.. I became a member to get a discount off my purchase, plus a good amount of free swatches :) more

The only place for fabrics! 5/27/2010

The best yard for the dollar; you'll not believe the fabulous selection of every kind of fabric you can imagine...all that along with excellent service from the folks who know fabric. Be prepared to take your time and browse! A great way to spend an hour or two!!! more

Banksville Designer Fabrics is INCREDIBLE!!! 10/11/2009

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, AAAAAAAA+++++ I've been going to Banksville Designer Fabrics for years. The fabrics are outstanding, well worth paying a bit more than you had planned. Of special note are the change of season setups - luscious rare Italian wools in the fall and stunning cottons in the spring that get snapped up quickly. This store's collection of beautifully colored linen in various weights has to be seen to be believed, and the silks are fabulous. Special groupings of fabrics are continually being added and there are plenty of special finds and unexpected treats. I always end up spending far more than I planned, loving every minute of it, and quite appreciative of the superb quality of the fabric. Warning: If you love it, don't hesitate. Grab it right then, because stuff just flies out of there. The assistants are extremely knowledgeable about fabric and very generous with help and advice. High Quality Fabrics 9/2/2005

Banksville Designer Fabrics is a fun place to shop. The store at first seems small, but there are endless choices of fabric along every possible inch of shelf space. The staff are very friendly and have a great eye for helping with your selections. Here youll find everything from vibrant calicoes to velvets to beautiful satins. But, be prepared to pay a bit more than your run-of-the-mill fabric store. In the end, the quality is well worth the higher cost. more
