Upon entering the establishment you are surprised at how small it is. At least I was. There were only 2 servers for 15+ tables and they were arranged very close. If you are a big guy, you will more than likely be a little confined. Once seated, we waited a good 10 minutes before being asked for our order. This was accomplished by a very young and what appeared to be a very inexperienced waiter. Reason that I have came to that conclusion is that he neglected to take our drink order. I ordered a basic Thai dish of pad see ew and coconut chicken soup. The soup was terrible, nothing more than chicken broth and coconut milk, which tasted sour. Very minimal chicken, as well. Next the Main: pad see ew, now I am not trained in the ways of Thai cooking but I can tell you that this dish was almost returned. The noodles were way past ?Al dente? and were ?Over Done Ta?. To a point of being rubbery and sticky. The Pork was well, well, well to tell truth well done. Broccoli was crunchy and the only portion of the dish that had its nature flavor was the bok choy. Let?s be honest, I am just trying to be nice. The D?cor was somewhat disorganized with traditional Thai and some crayon/coloring from some children I would imagine. I have to comment on the ?Butcher Block Paper? that they place on the tablecloths. I am thinking it cuts down on the laundry bill. It is really in poor taste and it sticks to your arms while dining. It does make clean up a breeze. Another note: the waiter was walking around with what appeared to be a personal cup refilling drinks. Bottom line Up Front (BLUF): I know what I like and I DON?T LIKE the Bangkok Grill in Covington, Ga.
