Can't believe that someone would pick on a Thai food joint for ambiance? This is the best, authentic Thai food in town. I would hardly say this place was 'dirty'. 'Old' and 'outdated' are more fitting descriptions. Family owned and operated, most days/nights the wife is cooking, the husband is bussing and working the register and the son is waiting tables. Lunch during the weekdays can be hectic. If you just love good Thai food, you shouldn't pass it up. Pros: food, food, food Cons: Hectic lunches, not known for ambiance. more

I have been eating at Bangkok for 5 years now. I frequent thai restaurants very often from kansas city to omaha, and bankok cuisine is by far the best thai restaurant I have ever eaten at. The service is very friendly and personal also. As far as the ambiance goes...who cares it is the best thai food you will ever eat. Normally thai restaurants aren't known for their ambiance anyways, and if they do have a nice ambiance the food usually isn't authentic and has been americanized. I'd still give bangkok a 10 if I had to eat my food in a carboard box in the alley. After all your going to eat, not to be impressed by how pretty the building looks. Try the cashew chicken and tom kah soup their pad thai is ok too but I have had better (thai place in KC). The ambience at Bangkok Cuisine is terrible. Flourescent lighting over bare tables and white walls with a large TV blaring in the corner. The food was good, but after I visited the seriously FILTHY bathroom I couldn't enjoy it anymore. Would not recommend and if you did want the food - get takeout. Seriously, seriously, filthy.
