Caring about their wallet not your pet 11/17/2010

When a business insists on running unnecessary tests on a pet because they 'have the machine in their office', and won't give the customer an option to have just the medically needed tests or have these tests done elsewhere, is wrong. Care centers for people can't do this so why should vets be allowed to pad their wallets doing unneeded costly tests. When I asked for the price to have a prescription filled, they told me I would be required to have my dog seen. When I arrived they then told me it would be $70 for a battery of tests, most of which were not needed for my dog. Then they wanted another charge for drawing the blood. What a scam to pad their revenues. I asked for just the 2 tests (BUN and Creatinine) which were needed and they told me they only ran the full scan because they have the machine on site. When I called around, a BUN and Creatinine run by themselves were $19 by another lab company. What a rip off this place is. more

Very caring assistants 2/11/2010

Out for the money 8/30/2009

These people are only out for a check. I have been taking my puppy there for a year, have done ever service they recommended, spent 100s of $$. Today was the last straw. Tried to charge me 40.00 for a nail trim. They had to get extra help. I would have rather they came out to the waiting room and suggested some doggy downers before hand. I refused to pay that amount for less then 5 minutes of time. And only then after I refused did the vet come out and explain rudely that the next time he would need to be put under. That he needs obedience training, (when he has been going to that plus agility his whole first year of life) and that he could be a dangerous dog. This dog is sweet and shows no signs of aggression. He was just scared. The vets come and go, they don't know your dog and don't care to. She just wanted to collect triple what a trim should cost. This is not the first time they have charged me different then what was quoted. You get a different vet on each visit and they don' more

UGH what a bad joke. 3/23/2006

I used this clinic while my vet was out of town after calling to ensure they could do what I needed. \r \r We arrived and were placed in a very tiny exam room that was dingy and dirty. After a very long time, a vet and an assistant came in so that now, none of us could really breathe without touching each other. \r \r Then they proceeded to argue with me about what I wanted done (a singled out vaccine as opposed to the combo shot) for over 15 minutes, using completely outdated and disproven 'facts'. Finally they did what I wanted, however, why did they say ok over the phone and then treat me like that? \r \r The worst part though was that they picked up my 60 lb dog by his collar! That is inexcusable for a vet not to know better than that. \r \r Overall, it was dirty, unpleasant, uses outdated medical info and even for that low-price, I'd expect better. more
