The wait is ALWAYS entirely too long. They need to hire more people or find a better way to move pets through the office. My time is valuable and I don't need to spend it in a vets office! more

Warning...do NOT bring your loved pets to this joke of a vet hospital. They will try to sneak in charges you don't need and overcharge you for everything. They are hoping you are stupid enough not to catch them. We moved our pets and will never take them back to this place. more

Banfield in Garner, was the worst experience I ever had with a vet clinic. I signed up for one of their plans, and took my dog in several times for services. I took her in originally because she had symptoms of a urinary tract infection. They sent me home with medications which I gave her faithfully. Took her back for a teeth cleaning and was told she still had a urinary tract infections, although she had none of the symptoms that she had with the first infection. Sent me home with meds and I had to pay for another lab charge to check for the UTI which was ridiculously over priced. Since she had the infection they couldn't clean her teeth. I could accept that. I really didn't think she still had a UTI with no symptoms but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Two months later I rescheduled her teeth cleaning. They wanted to do another UTI and I said no, as she had no symptoms and if she had an infection by this time she would be showing symptoms. So they did clean her teeth. Scheduled more

Great Service at Banfield In Garner 7/12/2010

I have been taking my puppy to the location on Timber Drive and am very pleased with the quality of service my dog has received. My puppy has been there quite a bit to get her shots and was spayed and I was happy as is my puppy. The staff and front desk personel were always pleasant and took time to answer any questions I have with having a new puppy. I can not comment on others experiences that were posted here but I can on mine and overall, I am very pleased. more

DONT GO TO BANFIELD! 5/7/2010

ThIs is the worst place ever to take your pets they are too big for their britches. You will go in and just wait and wait around for them. They make you do all these tests that arent necessary. you will spend so much money at this place and not get results. i used to work at the banfield at white oak i know them personally and take it from me you dont want to go here!!!! they are rude. the only ones who are decent there are Dr. Blue and Jamie the Csr. Horrible horrible place not recommended at all. We just spent over 600 in 3 days and still do not know whats wrong. They dont call you back. they only care about your money. do not do not go here there are a lot of people to back me up. rediculous. I recommend a private vet and not a chain,. They only care about money and not your pet. more

Horrible Groomers 5/18/2008

I recently took y dog to be groomed (consisting of a wash/dry and nail clipping) at the Garner Pets Mart off of Timber Drive. All I can say is that the dog we dropped off, a sweet, happy dog was picked up sad, cowering and limping. \r \r Our dog has always been groomed and we have never noticed such a drastic change in her behavior than when we picked her up today. We should have realized something was amiss given that after receiving a call to pick her up?we were told that they hadn?t yet clipped her nails. My husband said he would go take care of the fee, and after leaving the woman behind the counter began talking about him in hushed tones to the other workers. When I spoke up that I was waiting for my dog, a suggestion was made that maybe I should leave to do some shopping. I refused, so she went into the back room with more than one worker to get my dog. I?m not sure what was going on, but after an inordinate amount of time my dog was returned?completely different tha more

Vetrinary service - Think twice before getting any ""plan"" 7/23/2006

These guys are okay, not awesome as vets. I went for the service plan where they draft your account and they got my account number wrong, didn't call me about it ( - for six months!), then sent my account to collections. I came in and they told me about the discrepancy and were very good about resolving it in the office, paid everything, got the discrepancy resolved, regular payments being drafted, etc, etc, - EXCEPT - I am still on collections, with regular, automated phone calls coming to my house every day. They are drafting my account, but their collection agency is still calling me on the already resolved action. Pros: Competent vet, good assistant staff. Cons: Office makes mistakes and misses them, uninspired service. It's just "blah". more

Great price, easy to find 7/9/2005

Went to buy some fish food and the price was very good and it was very easy to find on the shelf. They had a good selection and the store was clean and uncluttered. Recommended! more

Great place to visit with our golden retriever! 6/25/2005

This Petsmart is a great place to take the dog for a visit. Our big golden retriever mix will tip her head to you when you ask if she wants to go to Petsmart. She's like all ready to go - will even whimper if we take too long getting out the door - and as we take those last two corners to get into the parking lot. They usually have people there from the pounds with dogs to adopt too. The prices are pretty good, especially with coupons. Now, they have a new card that you use - and you can use your phone # if you can't locate the card at check out. PROS: dog gets so excited! CONS: prices on things like cages are a bit ridiculous more
