Not worth it 5/5/2009

my puppies have been going here since november 2008 and I've never even met Dr. Ritter. They talk you into their monthly ""insurance/wellness plans"" that are supposed to help keep vet maintenance fees manageable. Not so. They dont save you as much money as they lead you to believe, and the staff does not keep you up to date or aware of things that are happending, They are very unorganized and imperonsal and I wouldnt recommend anyone use their services. Pros: Hours of business Cons: Very impersonal and misleading. more

I wouldn't use again. 8/2/2006

I wish I knew more about cats when I was using their services. I was given two cats and took them to Banfield to get their annual shots and checkups. One cat's blood work came back abnormal, and wound up costing me at least $1,000 in bills before they realized she was allergic to grass. They originally said she had leukemia. I also found out that they gave her overdoses of practically every vaccination when they faxed her records to another vet. The other cat eventually was put to sleep when they misdiagnosed her as having kidney cancer. She disease was fatal, but it was Polycystic Kidney Disease, which is a known breeding defect in Persian cats. In the end, I would up paying over $2,000 in vet bills needlessly, and I really did not have the money to spend. PROS: I do not think all Banfield Hospitals are this bad. CONS: Everything. more

Great place to go when you need pet supplies. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Their dog grooming is very high quality and reasonably priced. Even the price of shots here is a fair price. Plus you can bring your dog into shop and pick them up a special treat. My dog always likes to go for a ride and this is a fun place to go... more
