I would never advise anyone to take their pets to Banfield. My cat had an ear infection that would not go away, so I decided to take him there because it is much closer than my original vet. I feel as though they tricked me into the pet insurance because of all the crap they said they had to do to him. Gave him all kinds of unnecessary shots and scared him half to death and then said they needed to sedate him because he was uncooperative. No joke, after they poked and prodded him all day. When I arrived to pick him up they couldn't even get near him. My cat has NEVER acted me this, he loves everyone he comes in contact with. I had to come back and get him and then he slightly calmed down. Now this is where I feel like I was tricked into their insurance, they told me with out It I would be paying $640, but with it ended up being $240 for an ear infection! Obviously I chose the lower option, and They sent me home with ear drops. Seriously ? Not only did those drops do absolutely nothing! his infection got worse. I took him back to his original Vet. (I will never go to anyone else ever again. ) They gave him 3 shots, gave him his ear medication at the office, and we were in and out in 30 mins. Salem was completely fine and loving on everyone there. He was already 50x better that very next day, and it cost me only $110.
Needless to say, Do NOT take your pets to this Banfield.
