Ballyhoo... Wow! They are the epitome of unethical, unprofessional & unintelligent. They lack the artistic qualities as developers to bring their beautiful mock-ups to life. The site we were presented was authentic, aesthetically pleasing & chic. Sadly the finished product was none of the above. We got a run down for-closure quality website followed by months of unprofessional conversations and quarrels trying to fix our site. For starters we have our DEVEL left for the entire world to see... Devel stands for development, so in short, ANYONE who has even the slightest knowledge of webdesign (including myself) or hacking could destroy my website in the matter of minutes. This is a giant no-no and incredibly frowned upon. I now have to pay to get the devel hidden. In addition to this, we were promised that all bugs found w/ in the first 30 days would be promptly fixed. For starters I had to send 4-8 emails every time I found a bug just to get them fixed. After I had sent 4-8 emails containing a list of bugs, all found with in the first two weeks. They had waited until the month was up and neglected fixing a handful of bugs then proceeded to tell us it was not in his budget to fix what was promised to us. As someone had stated previously, it is always excuses with Ballyhoo. Sadly even their excuses are not well thought-out. Excuses such as ""We were really busy this week"" are not valid excuses. I am busy as well and when I pay near $10,000 for a website I expect the quality to be greater than one I had made using a $100 template. Our site is utter garbage and completely dull. In addition to all of this, our SEO was never done, not a single word. This company is an utter disaster and you would think money would motivate them. However, them knowing I had another $15,000 to invest into my website was clearly not enough to sway them into making a professional end-product. I would advise any business who decides to move forward with Ballyhoo to have good legal counsel as you will most likely be needing it.
