The lowest priced bowling I've seen in the Bronx. However, you get what you pay for. Amongst the annoyances is a No Smoking policy that isn't enforced. Be prepared to go home smelling of cigarettes even if you don't smoke. The lanes are prone to breakdown. There are over 40 lanes, but management loves to stick groups in adjacent lanes even at off peak hours. It is extremely annoying when youre bowling with 2 people and management put 6 teenagers on the next lane when there are only 6 or 7 seats. Ball Park Lanes is a place to avoid on Friday and Saturday nights if you want to bowl a without much distraction. Thats when the younger crowd is in. Sunday nights are more docile. Some positives other than low prices are that there is hardly ever a wait time and the scoreboards are computerized and easy to operate.
Pros: inexpensive, low wait times, computerized scoreboa
Cons: smoking, young crowd, old lanes
