Bait and Switch!!! They charged me $200 more that what they quoted me with no remorse!!!!\r

I went in for a regular teeth cleaning and I was told by the receptionist that the procedure was fully covered by my dental insurance. The hygienist decided to upgrade my procedure to a Full Mouth Debridement WITHOUT consulting me or letting me know about the price difference. When the visit was over, the receptionist reprimanded her and told her that she could not perform this type of procedure without talking to her and the patient (me) first. After debating with the receptionist they came to an agreement and told me I had nothing to pay and that I could leave. \r

I got a call 2 weeks later telling me that I owed them $200 because the upgraded procedure was not covered. I explained what I was told and that it wasn't fair... then the billing clerk called me thief by saying that this was ""as if I had taken something from the supermarket without paying for it"". Flabbergasted, I complained about her rudeness, lack of customer service and the bait and switch tactic they had just pulled on me. I was then transferred to the office manager who defended her employee and basically said they were going to charge me what they thought was correct and not what I was told by the hygienist and the receptionist. She also threatened me by saying that my bill would go to collections. She said that I shouldn't give their practice a bad review because most of the staff had been off that week and that my bad experience was an isolated incident... yeah, right I'm SO disappointed in this place, I thought I had found the perfect dentist but what I got was disrespect, poor customer service and $200 less in pocket.
