Bajon Salon

I have been to many Salons I visit and watch listen and learn. Watch to see how the salon is ran and listen to how things are done. I did learn that your first impressions at a Salon tell you if you like to have your hair and makeup done at that salon. First visit was to purchase a gift certificate at Christmas, young lady was very professional and was dressed in a professional manner. (looking at your website her name was Britney A) Returned back to the Salon on Sat the 7th of January to see about your services and to ask questions. I was back for the Second time. Different Watch and listen and learn.. and I learn, I learned that maybe the Salon needs to make changes on the busiest day for the salon the put someone that had no makeup and was very rude to myself and others both on the phone and in person. I was not greeted as I was on the first visit when I walked in. I was walking around the front and not acknowledged for sometime. She was not on your website.. She was a younger girl. and not dressed for a success, the smoke smell coming from behind the counter was a major turn off for a non smoker. She took the true meaning out of your UPBEAT -BUT NOT UPTIGHT this makes your salon UPTIGHT and not UPBEAT. ** Need to work on first impressions! I hadn't had a haircut or highlight in MONTHS, so I called in a panic when I found I had a job interview the next day. Even being a brand-new customer, Karen fit me in at the end of her day, and gave me quite possibly the best haircut I've ever had. She took time to discuss the pros and cons of several style pictures I had brought, and then did an excellent job of adapting the style to my hair, which was slightly too short on the sides to exactly duplicate it. She also recommended some products to protect the color and help avoid further straightener damage, and I am in love with these products. They really have made a difference, and they smell very nice too, which makes them a winner in my husband's book! I am a new loyal customer! more

Left another salon after about 10 years and asked to have Karen as my professional stylist and she has been wonderful. She helped me explore some desires I had in changing my style and it was exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks Karen. See you soon! Karen has always done a great job listening to her clients. They style is what I want and need to fit my lifestyle, and the highlights match the season (summer vs fall/winter) so I never look out of fashion. If I have a question after the cut/color, she is there to make sure I am satisfied. I have been going there for many years. Pros: Convenient location-great staff-great service more

I'm from Canada, and have an uncle whose been cutting my hair since I was born, so I've never trusted anyone else with it - but it was time to make a change. So I took my husband to Bajon Salon for an appointment with Shelly, and she just understood what I wanted, and he looked great - so I took a chance, and I love my hair! Not only was Shelly very friendly, she was honest about the style and cut and how it would frame my face, plus she let me know that if I had any questions about redoing the style at home I could email anytime. I told Karen I wanted to be a blond, not just highlighted blond but ALL blonde..she did whatever it took, stayed after hours and kept on processing my hair to perfection. I felt like a really special person and I will be going back for sure! Pros: Putting the client first! more

I am really happy. I just had my teeth whitened with the new Spa-White treatment and I am impressed. Not only did I save a few hundred dollars (my dentists wanted to do this for $420) but instead I had it done with the Spa-White treatment and I witnessed my teeth getting as white and beautiful as I've seen them in years! Great Job! I admit was somewhat hesitant about this new service at a salon, but now, I'd definitely recommend this to all of my friends or family - especially those who smoke, drink coffee or drink red wine. I have sensitive teeth, but this treatment did not bother me at all and it was very pleasant. Thanks for a wonderful experience Bajon Salon!!! I really love the color and cut I get from Chris at Bajon but the last time I was in I was interrupted by two people selling me treatments for whitening my teeth. I came to Bajon to relax and get a new look, which I received awesomely but I also had two different people trying to sell me on teeth whitening. I feel like when I come to a spa I am there to relax not to get bombarded with pushy sales people. If I want something done to my teeth, I will go to my dentist where they do not push their products on me. I had to give a rating of four not five because of the pushy sales people. more

I just recently got my haircut and colored my Lisa B and she is the best! She gave me opinions about my hair and she diffentely made me feel comfortable and let me know she cared about me and my hair. Even the other stylists gave me compliments about my hair everyone was super nice and friendly! After I was finished lisa told me to feel free to come back if i have any problems fixing it my self or anything altered..that made me feel like she really cared about making me feel BEAUTIFUL! thanks Lisa and Bajon more

When I first went to Bajon I wasn't "crazy" about the girl I saw but loved the salon. They gave me a card saying if I was not completely satisfied to please try another designer, so I did and that's when I fell in love with Jade. She is the perfect designer for me and I don't see myself looking for another salon for a long time!!! Thanks Bajon Salon and Jade. Pros: Very "down to earth" and easy going staff. Cons: none more

I do not use to write reviews but I though it was good to share my opinion to help other girls looking for feedback. I went to Bajon salon based on the rating in this webpage and I really do not know how they got 5 stars. Lisa B. cut my hair and I was very disappointed. I really regret going there, I was asking for something very simple but she looked like did not know exactly how to do it. She was very nice and friendly though. Unfortunately my hair does not look that nice. more

This was the worst salon I have been to in 15 years of getting salon services around the world. I paid $100 for a manicure and pedicure (very overpriced) and extra to get french manicure polish. The french manicure looks worse than if I would have done it and it does not even carry all the way across my nails. I did not receive all the services that were included in my package and that was shown on the brochure and when i told the MANGER this, she said "oh it must have been a gliche in the printing!" Not only is the manager rude but the service is not up to par with an upscale salon. The ambience is not even relaxing. This was the worst waste of time and $100 I have spent. more

After moving to the area from Indiana I was looking for a good place to do my hair. The experience was great. The ladies were very nice and listened to what I wanted. However I was caught off guard during check out, I wasn't informed that getting my hair washed after the dye was going to cost extra. They should really let you know before hand that something is going to cost extra and give you the option to take it or not. more

Michele was outstanding. She understood what I wanted without a lot of detail. The cut exceeded my expectations, and was probably one of the best cuts I have ever had. Before I left the salon, I was asked if I was pleased with my cut. I was provided with a number to call to reschedule or if I had any concerns after I got home. I received a follow-up call several days later to assure I was satisfied with the cut and the service. I highly recommend Michele - she can work miracles! I have been to several of the more upscale salons in the area and I can tell you that Bajon is by far the most attentive to the client. This is so refreshing considering that you can sometimes run into pretentious attitudes in some of the nicer salons, but that is definitely NOT the case here. Everyone is so friendly! I have been there four times so far to see Brianne and she is so nice; she really takes the time before she begins to listen to what I want. As soon as you walk in you are greeted promptly and they made me feel very at home every time I visit. I have had the works: colors, cuts, a facial AND waxing...all were outstanding and I left feeling refreshed, happy, and looking great. Overall, I would highly recommend Bajon for someone wanting to try a new salon with a high standard of service. I relocated here several months ago and used Citysearch to find a top salon. Bajon came with such glowing reviews that I gave it a try several weeks ago. Many of the staff are quite young - my manicurist/pedicurist, while decent, was not what I was paying for. She was new to the industry and I wanted someone with more experience (who would have done a more thorough job) for the price of the visit. The bad experince came with the brow wax - after a 2 second consultation, I was left with horrible, tadpole brows that do not exist in nature. My waxer in my previous city took the time to recommed a shape based on my face - not here. Everyone gets the same brows I suspect. I politely indicated this was not what I expected and it was not ok. Anyway, she offered to comp the wax, which she should have done, even though I would be bald for the 4 weeks it would take to grow out. After, however, she tried to renege on that comp and offer me a free wax NEXT time. Well, I was never letting her near my brows again! That felt "cheap" to me, particularly because I was receiving a few hundred dollars in services that day. Regarding the salon - it's ok. But, it's not the "upscale" posh salon Bajon would like you to believe. Let's not kid outselves, it is a suburban salon with fake wood floors and soccer mom clients (no offense soccer moms). I have just recently recieved my waxing services at bajon, they treated me with the upmost friendliness and offered me coffee and greeted me as soon as I steped foot in the door. As I recieved my waxes they used clean sticks, strips, and tweezers they took the tweezers out of disinfectant and put them back after use. They would use new sticks everytime they put it in the wax. I have never been to a salon where they took care of the tools and used cleanliness. I will be back for many services in the future! THANKS BAJON! more
