We recently moved to the area and were in search of a vet for our 2 year old golden retriever and our kitten. I cannot begin to stress enough how wonderful the doctors and staff of WAH are! These are people are passionate about the work they do and the services they provide, finding you all was a real sigh of relief. more

My 13 year old Jack Russel terrier 5/24/2012

My 13 year old Jack Russel terrier recently started developing severe arthritis. After consulting with the doctor I was relieved to find out how many medical options I had to keep him healthy and pain free. more

I have to give a big thank you to everyone at Waxhaw who helped me dog and I out last week. After Buster got attacked by another dog I brought him here and the staff was amazing. He stayed for the night and when I picked him up the next day, he was his normal self. It seemed like the whole incident had never happened! more

I always feel as though the vets really care about me and my pets. I feel good that I am doing the best for my pets, because of everything I have learned from WAH. I am very pleased with the service and I would not bring my pets anywhere else. more

A nice change 3/13/2012

I am new to the city to I wanted to tour Waxhaw because I have had an unfortunate bad experience with the last animal hospital we went to. I toured the facility last week and was very impressed. We made our first appointment for next week and look forward to getting my dog Brody used to a new animal hospital. more

Dr. Amy is a keeper! 1/24/2012

Dr. Haasse was wonderful! She got down on the floor with my dog before we did anything and let him smell and get to know her. She allowed me to stay in the room while he was examined and given his shots. This was the easiest visit we have had in 6 years! more

    Waxhaw Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Waxhaw, NC. We are the largest, and one of the oldest animal hospitals in the area. We have a long, strong history with our clients and the community. We continually strive to help contribute to the needs of the pet population in Waxhaw and greater South Charlotte, and readily welcome our new neighbors!
