I called Bailey Brothers Heating to diagnose my furnace issue. The repair man (Josh Taylor) arrived and informed me I needed a new valve for the furnace. The cheapest rate was $661 labeled as ""The Bandaid."" I was not a 100% about the decision on purchasing the valve but I told him to go ahead and replace it. No later than 3-5 minutes later I explained to him that as a single mother of two and without background knowledge in the heating department that I would have felt more comfortable seeking quotes for the furnace valve. By this time, the valve had already been replaced and he explained to me that because it has already been replaced that I would still have to pay for the labor with consisted of over $300. This was and still is very upsetting. I ended up paying $506 for one valve replacement and 99% of the time the repair man had his ear phones in listening to his music in which I felt closed some time for communication.
