Bahrs Landing Seafood Restaurant & Marina

First off, I love seafood. Second, this summer I was on vacation for four days, and ate in as many seafood restaurants on the Jersey Shore. Of them all, the best was the last place I visited: the Bahrs Landing Restaurant. This place is cool. You have a beautiful view of the water and the marina as you dine. It is a very clean place, and the food presentation is EXCELLENT. Bahrs is a casual dining establishment, but in my opinion it outclasses most casual dining places. You can wear jeans or shorts and flip-flops if you want, but you can also dress up. The most important and best quality of Bahrs is the food, as it should be. It was quite simply the best seafood meal I had on the Jersey coast. The bartender did a great job too. The staff was friendly and I wish I lived closer to it. I came to Highlands with my boyfriend for an anniversary dinner and after not wanting to wait the 1 hour+ wait at WindanSea, we decide on Bahr's. We really enjoyed sitting right on the water and had a great night for it. But their waitstaff is clueless. We were sitting for 10 minutes before anyone talked to us. Another 10 before they brought bread and 20 minutes before they gave us utinsles after we asked repeatedly for them. I loved my dinner, the crab cakes with honey mustard. My boyfriend got the fried oysters which weren't as good. The waitress than rushed us through our dinner and waited at the table when she gave us the check.
