Best

Very good Italian restaurant in the west metro. We had the bruschetta, fussili lunghi, and tortiglioni rossa, all very tasty. The service was excellent. Prices are on the high ...

Worst

Nicely done interior, interesting artwork and murals, but a bit noisy. Good food, but very small portions and not a good value - I will not return, as there are many better option...

BETTER AT BACIO 11/16/2002

A great place !!!! We had a party of 6 and wanted to add 2 more, we were disappointed that we were told that they did not have a table to accomodate us. When we arrived we understood. The service was remarkable. The food, wonderful appetizers, tuna, mussels, and scallops, all wonderful and done to perfection. We then split a pizza, again very good. Entrees were all very good, we shared and all of us had a great time tasting everything. The desserts were remarkable, the wine devine, GO!!! Pros: SERVICE SERVICE Cons: ONLY ONE LARGE TABLE more

splashy 10/29/2002

We went to Bacio for a birthday dinner. Our server, Ron was wonderful. We went with our parents and we were treated like royalty. The whole experience was superb. The food was great, but the service made the meal that much better. If I were to rate Bacio, I would give it a 12. Pros: service, ambiance, attentiveness Cons: parking, location of restroom more

""beautiful person"" place 10/27/2002

Bacio is a beautiful restarant, decorated with ""beautiful"" people. It's hard to believe this is the former LeeAnn Chinn's! It's very busy - book a reservation or go early to secure seating. My favorite two things about Bacio were the desserts (we shared the Huckleberry Cheesecake and some sort of delicious chocolate thing) and the service. Our server was attentive, informed and helpful without being a pest. The desserts were among the best I've had (and I've had a lot of desserts!). However, the Bacio salad was bitter (the salad was suggested by our waiter), and the food portions were small and just ok taste-wise. You are paying for the atmosphere and the trend factor here, not delicious entrees. If I went back, it would be just for drinks & dessert - skip the dinner. Pros: atmosphere, service, desserts Cons: food, crowded, hostess a bit snotty more

BAcio Birthday 10/8/2002

Took my father for his birthday dinner. The food was very good. I had the mussels which were some of the best I've had anywhere. They were large and tender..so often they get overcooked. Had oysters on the half shell..also very good. Wait staff was so attentive...we barely put down a fork and the plate was whisked away. Only downfall was my father's entree arrived cold...we told the staff, and it was immediately whisked away and a new entree toasty warm arrived quickly. How an establishment deals with issues is important and I thought their attention to his problem got great marks in my book. Pros: mussels, ambiance, Attentive wait staff Cons: Cold entree more
