I was in the beauty industry so my standards are fairly high when it comes to having services done. It was a treat for me to have a manicure and pedicure since I rarely do that for myself. I have to say for spending $84 including tip, it was not worth it. Krista, who I believe is a stylist and not a nail tech, did my mani-pedi. She and the other stylist talked more about themselves than I would like to know. I was there with my girlfriend and I felt like we couldn't enjoy a girl's day with each other because of the constant chit chat and interruptions by the stylists working on us. When it comes to beauty services, it should always be about the customer. There were many steps of the manicure and pedicure that were skipped or forgotten. My tips were not soaked. I never got cuticle oil or my cuticles pushed back or nipped. My nails were never buffed. The manicure table was dirty. My nails started chipping the very same day. Way too expensive, to not feel pampered. All in all I was completely dissatisfied. I will never go Bak 4 More !! more

OK so I read all your reviews and thought this is so crazy how can one person be so good. So I decided to try out this Amanda girl, yes I cheated on my regular waxer but only because all my friends have been trying to get me to go to her and the I find this website. So this site is so amazingly true that I am now a regular before I was only going when I had something going on. I couldn't drag myself in any more than that. If you are looking for that pain free (or more pain free than anyone I have been to), quick, and very efficient waxer you must go see her. Make sure to ask for her because I made the mistake of not asking for her and my appointment ended up being with someone else. I was so thankful they confirmed and I heard who my appointment was with and quickly changed my appointment to Amanda Baker. Also this website says Posh Salon, this salons name is actually BaK 4 More I think at one time they were Posh. But the number and address are correct. Good Luck!!!! more

I have been getting bikini waxes for 15 years in various states in the Union and Amanda Baker at Bak 4 More is the ABSOLUTE BEST! A bikini wax, if done properly, should NOT hurt. Amanda's never hurt. She is fast, thorough and professional. I ventured out into Lexington's sea of incompetent waxers during Amanda's last maternity leave and endured so many horrific experiences I bought a waxing pot and waxed my own bikini until she went back to work. If you have walked out of a salon with your underwear glued to your derriere as a result of leftover wax or perhaps you had to ice yourself down to relieve the pain then YOU NEED to CALL AMANDA at BAK 4 MORE! I have been going to Amanda Baker since she worked at BaK 4 More Studio, She now works at Miles and Associates on Richmond Road and you can book appointments by calling her at 859-595-7203. She is the best wax person around and I have been sending all my friends to her and they are convinced after having waxed elsewhere. I am in and out in under 15 minutes and yes that is for the entire Brazilian area, not just the bikini area. I just had my first ever bikini wax. I went for the brazilian and was pretty terrified from all the horror stories I had heard ranging from uncomfortable positions to terrible pain and post-pain situations. From the moment I arrived, Amanda was great. She made me feel at ease and answered all my questions as to pain and after-care and everything. I won't lie. It was a little uncomfortable when the wax was pulled off, but nothing like I had heard or read. This was well worth it. Amanda was very thorough and was done in less than thirty minutes, and I am extremely pleased with the results. I'll definitely be back. more

I went to Bak 4 More Studio which used to be Posh at Brighton and let me tell you that I had the best brazilian wax ever. I was in and out in 30 minutes and it was a very thorough job. I have been to many places both in Lexington and larger cities and have NEVER been so pleased. Highly recommend Amanda who used to work at Posh! more

I went to Posh only once. I tried it because it was a newer salon in town. Also, I was going for a rather complex color treatment (I went from being a redhead back to a blonde). I not only had to wait for my appointment, but I was deluged with pressure to buy their haircare products. I know this is standard in all salons, but after a "no thanks" you might expect that they give up. On and on . . . I'll never go back, though I was pleased with the job they did - my hair turned out great, if not exactly the shade I had in mind. If you're not easily annoyed, try it out. more

Posh salon offers a good selection of services. I would not rate their up-do's at the top of the list. The first problem I has is that they took too long. I have gone to the beauty school and have been in and out faster than at Posh. Posh's services are reasonably priced. Their price compares with other salons, nothing to outrageous. more
