I rented a pressure washer which I need for a 4 hour job. The rate was 4 hrs for 52.50 after 4 hrs $78.50 no exceptions. The guy loading the equipment started it up and told me there was 2 hours worth of gas in the machine. I told him I needed the equipment for a small job however did not bring a gas can and asked if there was one available ""no! sorry"". Gas was a distance from the job. When I got to the job I checked the equipment's gas supply and it was 1'2 full. I got an hour into the project and ran out of gas. I had to go get a can of gas. Given the number of times I've rented from Barbur Rentals in the last decade plus, I must admit I am stunned at my stupidity for renting with them again. I will not do so again and am providing you solid advice - rent elsewhere! My list of grievances is long. They do not know the meaning of customer service. They informed me that they do not wash the dishes they rent out - it's up to the customer (GROSS! - germs galore). They do not help you bring your rentals back in when you pull up in front of their building. They are extremely S L O W. They are unbelievably RUDE. Bottom line: they do not want your business.
