B&B Theatres Overland Park 16

Once you walk into this theater, you will be hooked. The fountains, the staff, the theaters are all very nice and everything is SO CLEAN! A manager is always in eyes view. I've been going here for years and I and the other customers are a testament to how great this theater is. Since it is not located in a mall, they have had to build a following. I am proud to be a regular, and most of the staff remember my order when I walk in. Large coke, extra ice, hold the diet! :) One thing, get your movie times from the business website. I've gotten the wrong times from the newspaper before. more

Hi, I was visiting the city with my son for a soccer tournament and we decided to take in a first run movie. We stopped at the Palazzo 16 and paid $15 for 2 tickets and $20 plus for snacks. Unfortunately, the movie broke during the showing and we sat in movie theater for 15 minutes while they ran around trying to fix it. When it started over no one was offered a discount or future seats, and they had to splice the movie so we missed around 10 minutes. Other than that it was very clean and kids working there were nice. Parking was fine so I gave it a 2 instead of a 1. I worked in a theater throughout my high school years so I know what a proper response should have been. We did contact the management, but presume they didn't care since we were from out of town, as we didn't receive any return calls. more

I recently went to see Up in the Air at this theater, and it was the worst projection I've ever seen. The bulb was dimmed so low that the film was flickering and vignetting around the edges - all it needed were scratches to remind me of a film from the early 1900's. The framing of the film on the screen was also too high and it was getting cut off at the top. On top of that, the theater forgot to start the movie on time - audience members had to ask the management to get it going, and it ended up starting 20 minutes late! To add insult to injury, we had to shoo away several moths flying around our seats, and we were given a soda without a lid, and had to ask for one. This place may look cool, but the quality of the actual movie-going experience was horrible. Do yourself a favor and find a different theater to watch your movie in.
